^^^i might check this out next time i splurge...where should i start with this?
Madman Vol.1-on..i know it sounds like im being a fanboy by sayin that, but its true..start with that.
gargantua? what's the chronological beggining?
nah image put the trades out, chronologically...but i think gargantua is ok..i dont have it, i just have the trades..and vol.1 is the very beginning.
nice^^especially the spidey one.

^^^good stuff, i'll have to get this next time i'm splurging... have you ever read x-force/x-statix by allred and peter milligan? some of my favorite shit of all time my copies got ruined by water damage...i wish they would omnibus that shit but it'll probably never happen...
i'm working my way through sandman mystery theatre graphic novels right now, really good stuff
and check out the adventures of luther arkwright and its sequel, heart of empire when you have the chance. these are forgotten classics. Bryan Talbot stuff, it's up there with Alan Moore.
Detective Comics with Batwoman was interesting, the artwork had me just staring at the book stoned, not even reading it. Fuckin gorgeous layouts lol
Did you peep Dark Avengers/X-Men? Pretty decent, but Silvestri has fallen off hard. There was like 10 different inkers and art assists...but the story was actually alright. To quote Doom 'Here's to things finally getting interesting' lol
Spider-Man has come back in a major way with this American Son shit, this story is the best the book's been since the Brand New Day shit started.
Why are there like 50 different Dark Reign spinoffs? Did we really need a Mister Negative series? That said, you should pick up the Dark Reign Zodiac series. It's a new villain, kind of reminds me of Heath's Joker...the feel of the book is like nothing else Marvel has out right now, the art has a Paul Pope vibe, dope shit.
meh, i missed utopia...guess it was sold out, but i got a few things i havent yet read....btw..wtf? mad comics out today..eloels. i couldnt buy em all.
as for Mess. War...honestly, im fuckin tired of Bishop chasing this bitch around....eloels.
also....is anyone following X-Men Forever?
http://marvel.com/news/comicstories.8516.The_End
smh, here we go.
ya messiah war started off awesome and then it became clear it wasn't going to resolve anything...and bishop has really turned into wiley coyote at this point.
too many fucking comics came out lol
i got x-men forever #1...considered it a wase of $4.00...it was just boring and tom grummet's art is so lacking in dynamism...it's like the art in legacy right now...
probably won't get the rest of utopia until it comes out in trade (maybe)...I'm getting burned out on alot of this shit. just tell a good story fuck all these 'status quo alterations' 'setting up an event' and so on....
have you ever read planetary? i bought the first trade of that on an impulse and it's pretty sweet I don't know why I never checked it before
You should get the 2 house of mystery trades- 'room and boredom' and 'love stories for dead people', you should enjoy it, it's kind of got a sandman/david lynch vibe
i might do that, right now im reading the first volume of Frank Miller on Daredevil with Klaus Janson
