There was an interview with Seth Blather on tv after the England game and he said using goal line technology is too complex to be used. It has to be wired all around the pitch and you cant use radio waves or some shit.
He thinks one of the best things about soccer is the discussions in pubs afterwards about refereeing decisions wether they were right or wrong, but really, does he think that honestly makes up for a team getting knocked out of the world cup coz of bullshit decisions, or not getting into the world cup (i.e Ireland) coz of fucked up decisions? Id give up all those discussions to have had Ireland in the world cup this year (even though they probably wouldnt have gotten far).
Basically Seth Blather is full of shit. With the advancements made constantly in modern technology his reasons for not introducing goal line technologhy can easily be overcome. FIFA really needs an overhaul, get rid of that fuckin grumpy cunt and bring in someone younger.
Id love if England would make a big deal out of this goal line technology and try to get it introduced, but they want to hold the 2018 world cup (i think, either that or the 2016 European championships) so they wont say much in order to get it. All fuckin politics.

And those stupid screens shouldn't be showing on the stadium, what kind of shit is that?
You didn't come on stadium to watch the screens and your stupid yourself when camera's zoom you, you came to watch the match.
If those footage is not supposed to influence on the referee why the hell are they showing it in the first place? Everyone gets pissed of, and for referee is even harder to judge after he realised that he made a mistake.

Clan Destine is 100% right, but it's never going to happen because if we're being honest pretty much all the best players in the world dive constantly.
It's a shame especially in a country like Australia (where i am from) where "soccer" is pretty much the third or fourth tier of football beyond at least 2 other codes.
Simulation gives such ammunition to people who label football as a joke, and there's no legitimate argument against that when you watch these pussies.
Bit of shame Japan went out, but they deserved it really. Paraguay from the start were there to win the game, and Japan sat back hoping for either a goal from a set piece or a long range shot.
