hughes has a dead arm
Good Move Putting Him On The Dl Gives Him Time To Straighten Shit Out Hopefully And Gives Colon Some Starts That Truthfully Hes Earned. I'm Just Wondering How Much Longer There Gonna Keep Gardner At The One Spot I Dont Think Hes Ready For It. He's A Better Fit For The Nine Hole And Swisher Is At His Best In The Two Spot.
they were good in 2007...they blew that 3-1 lead on Boston.
I think the team is good. I expect them to play well all year. Mainly because these were top notch prospects they got for great players. So these guys were projected to become high caliber players.
Good thing is they still got some great prospects yet to come up.
Remember the names Lonnie Chisenhall (3B) and pitchers Alex White and Drew Pomeranz.....also Jason Kipnis 2B.
If they play well all year than they are ahead of schedule cuz next year was the projected one for the turnaround.
yea gardner is not ready at all, and jeter won't produce. the thing that's gonna kick the yankees' ass this year is our pitching, rotation especially, but i think our pen just needs time. and our top and bottom of the lineup needs to do good. teixeira, a-rod, and cano are the only ones doing shit. the most HRs on our team goes to posada, who's batting only .180, this is the first time i actually don't have faith in my team
and this is a weird ass season so far.
boston worst team in the league, but with probably the best roster
cleveland and kansas city are tied for the 2nd best record in the game
rockies are best team in the game so far...etc
2 outta 3 keepin on keepin on
man Baltimore O's were doing good.. i was just about to jump on the bandwagon...as in watching a full game on tv. 7 l's in a row..from #1 to tied 3rd to last in mlb
well still got along way to go ..but looks like they are doing what they all ways do
i still rock the jersey.. (nameless) ..to represent Baltimore
the O's are pretenders....but the Tribe is for real.
Sizemore comes back with a homer and a double.
absolutely no way O's would have kept that up, won't happen
the Orioles SUCK. they got a buncha big bats with idiots swingin them...they will drop off and be trash..
i cant believe how hot the tribe have been...they were supposed to be the dead last team!!! CHOO is theyre best player..so im not so sure they can keep it up all the way through...remember when the nationals did this a few years back?? then they ended the season under .500 ....
edit : i picked up willie fucking bloomquist on my fantasy team...and he's gettin it done!!!! willie fucking bloomquist!!!
They have more than Choo.....if Hafner and Sizemore are their old selves all year, than this lineup is going to be tough. Because Asdrubal Cabrera can hit, and Santana and LaPorta are big time prospects breaking through.
Plus, the bullpen is one of the leagues best, and the fielding is among the best.
the biggest thing is that these young starters can blossomall year. So far they have.
This isn't a fluke this year tho.....the second half of last year they played 2 games under .500 without Sizemore, Hafner and Cabrera....basically playing all their prospects.
so they got some seasoning in...which is why guys like Brantley and LaPorta are playing well and Masterson, Carrasco and Tomlin are pitching great.
They are a complete team. This year may not be their year, they are still young, but they are definitely up and comers and will be contenders for sure next year if not this year. They can contend for the division.
Plus they still got 3 great pitching prospects and a 3B and 2B prospects comeing up next year or later this year.....those are the two future holes.
so i'd expect them to keep playing well.
we are playing the Royals right now.....they have a nice lineup. I dont know about there pitching staff though.
The White Sox have one of the best lineups in the league, but if Buehrle struggles and Peavy isn't his old self, they will underachieve. Losing Bobby Jenks has killed them. Their bullpen is a huge question mark....i think they have blown 6 of 7 save opportunties..
the Tigers....outside of Verlander, they dont have great pitching either, starters and bullpen. I think they are getting a bit old, but they do have a nice lineup. Defensively i think they struggle too.
Twins....Joe Nathan not being the joe nathan of old will hurt them...and their pitching is just so so.
The main reason i think the Indians can win this division is that their defense, starters and bullpen are better than everyone else's in the division and some of the best in the league.
yea they're balanced. other teams are good in places but flaws in others. and defense > offense. but the KC rotation is horrible. Luke Hochevar is their ace. Kyle Davies is shit. the other SP's idk too much about. but that rotation will not keep up. and their pen has 1 reliable pitcher which is Soria, which i actually think is the closer, not sure. but KC will fall behind the tribe even more. and Tribe offense is looking good in the game so far.
u got MLB pass or something?
im actually getting more into baseball lately. The Indians playing well is definitely making me pay attention to other teams, but its nice to see the game getting back to normal after all that steroid bullshit.
no but i have several games up at the same time on my tabs. and when i'm bored i just constantly look up baseball...the stats, players, etc
Lincecum is in the middle of a no-hitter against the Rockies. 7th inning. with giants winning 8-0. yo Touch do you think the Rockies will continue to do this good?
i dont really follow the national league too much, so i cant really give you an informed opinion.
Sizemore beastin it. I'm lovin those rode uniforms.
MLB took control of the Dodgers....
dodgers are losers
Dodgers are still one of the better historical franchises. But they haven't done shit since the 80's so I hear that.
Gotta show a lil' love for these Marlins.
Josh Johnson 1.07 ERA gettin' er done.
Yanks need to pick up the fuckin' slack 2nite...
Embarrasing series.
Carlos Santana and Choo starting to heat up. Sizemore stays hot.
big time prospect Alex White gets the start against Detroit on saturday.
I may go down to the game tonight.
Santana with the walk-off grand salami!!!
Yankees have 3 post-poned games so far and most teams played 3 more games than them, and it ruins my satisfaction when i look at the standings
They reschedule the games. They usually schedule a doubleheader the next time those teams meet in the stadium the game was cancelled at.
In the Yankees case, because their popularity is so high, they usually reschedule later in the season so they can get two gates in a day-night doubleheader. Teams that suck often reschedule the next day as a back to back doubleheader with one gate. The Mets have done that twice this year already.
thanks fellas. beautifulrock your dog gif is fucking hilarious hahaha
Indians still kicking ass. i hope they keep this up. Marlins are doing good surprisingly. my Yankees are showing inconsistency as a team, some of our players are improving though.
rookie phenom Alex White went 6 strong innings.
I wonder if he'll stay in the rotation, he's going to be a good one. i love the youngsters on this team.
they got depth at starter and in the bullpen.
Marlins blow the 2nd Josh Johnson win of the year. 7 scorless innings for JJ.
They blew 7 of his games last year.
Still playing well, but have to be PERFECT in situations like these where they HAVE THE GAME if they wanna be able to contend with Philly all year.
come on you losers( angels) keep the boston fag soxs in last place. so is it redsox or red soxs? who cares. tonite jered weaver will prove if hes worthy of being in the same league like cliff lee roy halladay and who ever.
This idiot can't be tried as an adult? And what's the stupid reason for that?
-Cops: Boy robbed stricken Pittsburgh Pirates usher
PITTSBURGH – Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy accused of robbing an usher who worked at the baseball stadium where the Pittsburgh Pirates play after he stopped his car while having a heart attack on his way home from an extra-inning game.
Police aren't identifying the suspect because of his age. They said Tuesday he approached the car and pulled out 58-year-old driver Michael Schacht, who had been slumped over and in distress. They say he stole the man's wallet and drove off in his car, leaving him on the ground.
Police were puzzled by the man's death because he had only a superficial head injury when he was found April 10 a mile from PNC Park.
The suspect doesn't qualify to be charged as an adult. He's being taken to a juvenile detention facility.

fucking Tribe baby. i was at the game tonight....place went nuts after Hafners game winner.
some seattle fan was talking mad shit, wouldnt even look at me when i was running my mouth
i give him credit for supporting his team through thick and thin
You know when the Tribe is playing better than the Yankees, it's gotta be May.
shiiit.....or October when we're knocking your ass outta the playoffs.
The Jorge Posada, Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera era is over....ya'll better get some PROSPECTS....thats they way teh game is going. You cant trade old fucks with big contracts because no one but the yankees can pay em.
regardless, this rain really sucks. two PPDs in a row and its supposed to rain all week.
