a bit biased maybe.. but the last 4 seasons have shown what sort of team we are.. we are developeing more into a passing side.. much more passing and possession than villa ( i live next to brum.. i know many many villa fans) their main form of attack is countering.. that doesnt require too much skill/technique/passing.. just fast strong runners.. im not saying they dont deserve to be where they are.. but watching them play everton.. u can see a big difference inthe styles of play..
i dont hate, i give credit. but i can see how i came across hateful.

the league standings now.. say what they do.. last season villa took 4 points off us.. and we still finished 6 points ahead of them. its coz they cant break teams down.. when villa have to make the play.. their just one way counter attackers.. that for a top 4 team.. is.. well.. not cl standard.

Everton have made very steady progress, without forking out tones of cash like others.
And I see your point, Spurs, Newcastle are a laughing stock right now.
But Villa, I'd honestly say they are my second favourite team right now in the PremiershipThey as you mentioned play a different style of football to most others
And they have a lot of English talent.
Your team is solid, very solid I just think you lack a touch of flair.
And it's a shame you couldn't keep Johnson.
Also yeah Villa are very different in there make-up
Which should make foran interesting battle, I think Martin O'Neil is a very good manager.
