REST IN PARADISE WARCLOUD

Holocaust was one of these rappers I have always rated, but oddly hadnt followed as much as I should have.

Upon hearing this news, I have been listening to a lot of his work, and wow the Brother had skills.

This album especially stands out.

I follow a few of the Clan on Insta, and sorry to see most are not posting anything about this Brother. To me he was and always shall be, what I love most about the Wu-Tang. A chamber of his own, no one can touch him, no one can equal him. A unique rapper who stands above many.Have seen a few youtube comments about him being offbeat, but thats the beauty of the Man. He didnt care, he just rapped and entertained us with his verses. A Wu Legend.

Always loved Warcloud. Interesting as fuck. His bars were like no one else’s.

My favourite projects are In The End There Of… and The Signs of Hells Winter.

Don’t really know much about their origin / “legitimacy” (can anyone shed light?) but for me, they are the only warcloud releases I’m aware of that contain the essential elements of:

1) consistent sound and production of quality; and
2) no shitty guest features.

The Blue Sky Black Death album ticks those two boxes too.

They are legit. Released at undergroundhiphop.com back in 2012 (I think as CD-r's). This was when MySpace was popular, and he had a bunch of tracks posted (along with some that didn't make the releases, like Love, Miserable Renounce). I spent a lot of time ripping these tracks from MySpace lol.

He worked with a rapper/producer named Gneticz...he produced at least one of the tracks, possibly more (Gneticz would post the instrumentals to his MS, which I also ripped I'm pretty sure lol).

Albums dropped after a hiatus, and this is when he entered his Robot Tank era.

I missed the original CDs, but picked them up when. BSOM re-released them.

One more point I just remembered...UGHH was going to released an album called "Drugstore Cowboy" but obviously think these other projects were released instead (no idea if the tracks are the same or it's a different project altogether).

Drugstore cowboy may still drop. Gotta talk to Gage about that one . I know he is gearing up to realease the works he did with warcloud in Boston.

True, but I always felt that album was over-produced. The beats on the BSBD Hell Razah album were better.

And knowing that Holo/Warcloud recorded to different beats and didn’t like the finished product kinda taints it for me too. Need to listen again, but Plunder, Sinister and Crash were definitely the highlights for me.
