Immortal is a militant dude. His lyrics, like most lyricists, are based on his experiences. He's not a douche, he's writing what he knows. Instead of bitching about his views, try checking them out and see if any of them are valid. Also, pick up a newspaper and maybe you'll see that America isn't exactly winning any popularity on the world stage.

Im not feeling him either, hes a respected lyricist like you said but his albums sound like mixtape compilations, he needs a descent producer and better direction if he wants to stick around much longer.

Its a cd at the end of the day. Like I said he gives you a whole bunch of theories/facts/opinions. These are different to what you see on the t.v. or read in the books etc. So if anyones interested then get his cd and start searching for the facts. Read up, discuss and talk about what he says and thats it. No one has to agree with him and thats what he actually quite explicitly says.
BTW - Wu Tang are notorious for their 5%er - Nation of Islam references - They are actually very anti-white so does that make them racist? Does them referring to something you don't like make them culprits too or is it just when I.M. says stuff that you seem to take offence?

i dont really care about racist rappers anyway and i dont get offended by a Lench mob song for example, but i cant stand it when people act as if only white people could be racist and blacks(or other non-whites) were all some kind of saints. thats the double-standard again.
i actually agree that immortal technique takes things to an extreme politically, but you're views are one sided, cause you seem ignorant to the fact that the american government is extremely currupt and far from the heroes they make themselves out to be, racism is still relevant just in a more subtle manner than say in the 20's
