It’s gives the smallest life-a true purpose,
a creative mind-a new surface ...
to draw upon whatever desires the heart inspires into service
all these things and more, are reasons I will always adore

Wow! first off, lemme just say that your audio is ill... you had a very nice delivery, and a very nice voice too; you're very talented... it felt like i was watchin' you on Def Poetry Jam, did you record that in a studio, or into your computer with a mic?

now your lyrics were very insightful... i'd like to say it was thoughful, but i don't think this one was written with anythin' other than pure heart... i get the feelin' it just flowed effortlessly onto the page... and from a technical standard it was written beautifully, a nice blend of strong vocabulary and artful simplicity... i don't have much else to say, other than keep doin' what you do... and lemme know when to watch for you on Def Poetry...

Psy, thanks for the compliments ... :) ... and you are exactly right ... it was a stray thought at first, and the rest just followed. After I read it, I was moved by it's powerful simplicity, so I recorded it (onto my computer with a mic). I always try to approach Poetry from the heart ... because I love Her.

Man fuck this candy ass shit. When I think of poetry I think of pain, misery, torture, murder, and bludgeoning motherfuckers to death. None of this pansy let's all have a group hug bullshit. Fuck that. I murder motherfuckers in cold blood, then use my wicked rhyme kicking ability to recount it.

This is a serious piece and should therefore be respected likewise. I really liked the style and form of your verse. It gives me the feeling you really put in the effort and emotion to build this verse.
