no because dolphins and dogs are in the same class whereas salmon and dolphinas are in different classes. animals in the same class share more of the same characteristics.
habitat isnt even a characteristic

i think, that because that second one has a long tail, it would have been able to swim. i believe it's more likely to have swam than flown.
you're saying the arms on the second are simalar to the massive wings of the last? that the wings on the first look smaller than the arms of the second?
because of one missing wishbone and a tiny little extra bone it's not possible to be a bird?
but a huge tail (many, many bones) and no wings it is more likely to be bird like?
http://ncse.com/evolution/science/what-is-homology this might b extremely useful for u trix
that thumb is enormous. its as long as the pterosaurs limb.
also ur missing the fact that one is quadrapedal and the other is bipedal.
and the way they stood is very different. the way they flew is also very different. a T-Rexs skeleton is structured more like a birds
this theory of yours has been rejected after decades of study on pterosaurs
that 'thumb' might look quite big compared to the feet, but it is tiny in comparison to its wings, it's more likely to damage that little 'thumb' having to carry big heavy wings like that around. you don't know that it was quadrapedal, that pic you showed could have been the foot and wing prints of an injured pterosaur that had to walk in that position, have you considered that?
trix u need to look more into the differences of homology and convergence
http://ncse.com/files/images/Wing_mo...ist_custom.jpg this diagram actually says its a finger not a thumb lol. but either way that finger is obviously huge
it is not huge when you consider the other bones on that wing.
the bones shown in blue and the bones shown in green is showing that they are bigger than the bones in pink.
look at the key. it shows that the green bones are the fingers. and that finger is indeed massive
it's more related to bats because of that little bone? not the absence of a beak or a long neck (many, many bones) but because of that one little bone? birds normally have three but that has four and it would make that much difference?
bats spend most of their time hanging upside down or flying around and only walk when they need to.

the bat appears to be walking on its thumb.
http://rspb.royalsocietypublishing.o.../F1.medium.gif
the 'arms' on this appears to have been walking on three digits.
how do kangaroos factor in?
http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mc...avdo1_1280.jpg
are they coin purses or key rings? ewwwwww.
yeah, it could have been more related to kangaroos. difference is the placement of the rib cage and the feet on the kangaroos are bigger. i reckon it was furry.

also, the movement of the arms of the first doesn't match the movement of the wings in the second. the arms of the first bend forwards like it would have been able to feed itself with the tips of its arms, whereas with wings there's no way of making the the tips of the wings point towards the mouth cos wings bend backwards.
this thread is just funny, thats it.
Lol at this thread. How'd I miss this?
You guys are going back and fourth about what, evolution? Yes, Theropods did evolve into birds because fossilized specimens suggest that theory. Second, the Dinosaurs died from a mass extinction just like there were several mass extinctions throughout Earth's history.
Research the early Cenozoic period. You'll find all of your answers.
it's not possible for some dinosaurs to have evolved? that very first one i talked about.
for something that big to fly with only membranes for wings would make flying quite difficult, wouldn't it? i reckon it would have had some meaty wings, lots of muscle power for it to fly and lots of feathers to keep it airborne and to keep its body warm. looking at its size (the neck and beak) tells me that membranes wouldn't have been strong enough to keep it airborne.
if they evolved there would be proof, it doesnt happen over night so there would be plent of bones showing the changes.
if humans descended from neanderthals and neanderthals were descended from apes/monkeys, how come we still have apes/monkeys, and have humans but no neanderthals?
there is more than one species of ape
..........and because homos were stronger and smarter than encino man we beat the shit out of them and raped theyre women. strong survive - simple shit realy.
