It all started over the London police killing a black man who was a father of four. The police said that he had a gun in his sock and shot at them and then there was a shootout. The family protested peacefully at a London's police station but somehow, a riot broke out. What started out as a peaceful march turned into riots across the city of London. People who are rioting aren't doing it because of the man who was killed, they're doing it because they're taking advantage of the situation.

^theres a lot more to it then that, the shooting was a catalyst.
the UK has been in deep shit for a while and people are just pissed off in general. their politicians are worse then over here, and its been slowly coming to light. so the people have been tense and anxious, that just set it off.

problems with the youth and police brutality fueled with the fact that the government have just cut benefits. So now, not only do many people not have jobs, they can't claim certain benefits.
All the riots are now extending to other parts of the UK including my area just outside London and it seems people are just looting for the sake of it and cause havoc to the police as they know they are a big part of the problem here.
People now have been running up in peoples houses and steeling cars, and this has nothing to do with those innocent people, but it's not stopping them trashing everything in sight.

It's nothing new here with police shooting someone without the person having a gun (although that is just allegedly for this situation at the moment).
Same thing happened a few years ago where the police shot that Brazilian man fleeing a train station. Sometimes the police get it wrong and cause allsorts of problems and outrage.
