Bloo Fredro didn't say in Sunset Park movie that the guy who lived in his building worked 12 hours at a job. He just said there's a guy who lives in his building who goes to work everyday. I see the point Fredro is trying to make but instead of putting a negative spin on the situation he was talking about, he acts like his life won't mean nothing if he educated himself because he feels like he's never gonna be able to move outta the projects into a nicer neighborhood which is bullshit. If Fredro's character would've put forth the effort to be somebody and go to college, he could get a good job and move out the projects. It's brothers like him in every hood in america that have this messed up mentality and low self esteem that they can't educate themselves and have a better life because they'd rather fit in with their ignorant friends who ain't about shit. In my opinion, this ignorance that blacks in the hood have about educated blacks with good jobs who live in nice neighborhoods are uncle toms and sellouts, that's a crabs in a barrel mentality. Even Ice Cube disses educated blacks who try to act white on his Be True To The Game song.
