Yeah, Cartoon Network/Adult Swim is really going through a renaissance period right now. I discovered this new cartoon called Mister Pickles a couple of weeks ago. It is worth checking out if you are a gore hound.
Except for cancelling ATHF, which is a horrible decision.
I've been watching a lot of older Simpsons episodes. It's crazy how timeless some of the episodes are.
I just finished season 8, so many good classic episodes.

I haven't seen any of the later episodes. The newest one I've seen was from 2004 or something. But yeah I've heard it got pretty terrible. I'll probably only watch half of the 500+ episodes I downloaded.
I don't know why they don't just cancel it and make a movie every few years instead. The Simpsons Movie was pretty excellent.
And bring back Futurama.
Eugh Memerama
Brian De Palma movies. Blow Out is the shit.
just finished season one of Orphan Black..
Reminds me of Fringe.. but funkier,.
heres episode 1

not available in the uk
when The Wire was being aired over here I saw like 2% of it so I'm watching season 1 and the postman should be putting season 2 through my letterbox very soon
Dressed To Kill and Body Double are also fantastic. I think he really made some of the best thrillers and obviously gangster flicks ever. Critics seem to dislike him but I don't know why.
I just watched Iron Monkey with Donnie Yen, I'm not sure why I never saw it until now. Fantastic movie. I have an older kung fu dvd called Iron Monkey too, haven't seen that in a while, although I remember it being good.
The Witch (2015) - Fantastic and creepy supernatural horror. Reminded me of Kubrick.
Zu Warriors From Magic Mountain (1982) - Fantasy kung fu action from Tsui Hark with an all star cast. Pretty entertaining for atmosphere and style but don't expect much kung fu.
Hard Boiled (1992) - Never get tired of this. I hear John Woo is going back to his action style for his next movie :)
finally got round to season 2 of arrow! watched season 1 like 3 years back trololo
i love the 'lost' island feel lol
cant wait to catch up to season 3-4 ; lots of folk i know been raving about it.
i hadnt watched Arrow in several months but started with season 4 last night, i think i left off somewhere in season 3 but dont remember which episode..
I just bought an Amazon Fire Stick 2 days ago and learned how to jailbreak it myself. Literally any movie and tv show imaginable for free in DVD quality, shit is magical
Atlanta - Dope Hip Hop based comedy/drama from Donald Glover but I'm pissed that its a new show and I can't watch 50 eps in the next 2 weeks. I wish I found out about it 5 years from now lol.
Gone back and started watching Peep Show from the beginning. Almost finished with season 2.
OJ Made In America.
Fascinating shit. I learnt a lot about the historical context in high school actually but its definitely an illuminating doc, especially about OJs personality and what produced that. Fucking long though, I need a break for the 2nd half.
Parts 2 and 3 were amazing as well. Its a horrific but important story about the ultimate sociopath and also how society (maybe just american society?) deals with fame, sex, violence, and obviously racial issues.
Human nature at its worst all around but I could easily watch the whole thing again.
how many tv shows and movies have they done about him in the past twenty plus years?
"But I'm not black, I'm OJ"- oj Simpson
Lmao
I just watched Blankman and I'm only posting about this to see if Charles Jones will respond
Last couple movies in the cinema were:
Wonder Woman
All Eyez On Me
Spider-Man
Next up probably Dunkirk.
Also watching Ray Donovan. 4 seasons in and still going strong.
Swordmaster on netflix is dope yo
Watching call of heroes on netflix i love me some chinese movies
I can't watch either one. Netflix is seriously lacking in the movies department right now.
watching Westworld
after being completely lost the first few episodes I started understanding and really getting into it. awesome show
Thandie Newton and her breasts are fine af
Cosmos (the new version) - been reading about that stuff so its nice to have visuals.
Shooter - whenever they release a couple new episodes
Friends from College - one episode in. Looks like a grown up version of Friends. Not bad so far.
the keepers"
what a crazy documentary about a potentially murderer catholic sexual abusing priest
The Handmaids Tale S1 - Initially I was a bit disappointed but its brilliantly acted and a fascinating concept. Many women in various shitty countries live under similar oppression. My complaint about the show is that it raises a lot of questions that are unanswered so far. I want to see more about the science of the baby drought, politics of the regime and world politics etc. Hopefully they'll get into that more in future seasons rather than just being an empowering women story, I understand the book was smarter than that.
