How was Calle 8?, i have gone for the last 3 years in a row, but i couldnt go yesterday cause my flight arrived back to Miami at 6 at night so it was too late to head out there and I was too tired, my friends told me that it was still on til like 8 at night.
crazy, because i invaded your hometown and you invaded mine. It was crazy, it was beautiful yet ugly. We united yet we beefed after the alcohol kicked in. to tell you the truth after it was all said and done, i wish latinos as a group were better off. The whole jump off was hood. The hood is beautiful, but at the same time it's a mess. Hard to explain. But yea, plenty of concerts, i did ahelluva lotta walking and phototaking; lot of interacting. My spanished blossomed that day.....a day to remember for me.
Yeah there's always mad fight over there, i heard some girl got knocked out cold with her nose bleedin and everything by a lesbian. Last year there was a huge ass fight, like 15 people deep. On the other hand, NY was freezing cold when i got there last wednesday night, and thursday was cold too, friday, sat and sunday was nice.
it was gravy in the beginning.but as time went by and the alcohol kicked in and the cubans and puerto ricans yapped..the panamanians and esse's barked...fights broke out, concerts were ruined...it is what it is, we just bounced and let it be. We're stuck on young pregnacy, poverty, alcohol, drugs and dropping out of high school. With immigration continuing to pour on, it'll only get worse.
That pic in front of that church looks like it belongs in a magazine or something. (speaking quality wise)
