word.
goal of the season without a doubt.
not the best performance by Utd by a long way, but at least the desire and commitment was there. Giggs, as ever, was ready to take one for the team.

Gerrard most likely would have kept the team composed after the first Chelski goal, encouraging the players not to panic. would have helped Lpool not to collapse early in the 2nd half.
They wouldve qualified with Gerrard. Im sure of that.
On to more important matters, like United.
ANDERSON = :cheerlie:
Just what we've been missing, is what he did. Finally a physical presence in our midfield, something weve been missing since hes been out, and especially in the first leg.
When Scholes came on for him in the last 10 minutes we instantly crumbled back to the 1st leg way of things. I knew that would happen. Putting Scholes on was CRAZY suicide manouever by Fergie.
Great performance all round though. Very hard place to go and win.
funny that the UEFA Cup will be Germany vs Ukraine. Them Ukrainians teams have done well to reach the semi's.
ronaldos wonder goal in that game aside, he is no where near the player he was last year in either porto leg or in general this year. what is the deal with dude?
^oh jeez give it a break. How can you say that after a goal like that.
Its like saying "apart from the incredible team goal Brazil scored in the 1970 WC final vs Italy, they really arent as good as people made them out to be"
you seem to be missing the point of football or something. You are over-analysing when theres no need to.
He is top scorer in the league (and he only started playing in October). He has half a dozen assists.
He is doing what he's paid for. Simple as that. No questioning gossip or hate needed. Just enjoy him. no homo.
unlucky Arsenal.
i walked past the tv downstairs and it was on, but wasnt really interesting... i hope this kills arsenals confidence for tuesday though
lol @ Man Utd, not the lucky fucks today.
i came home from work specially to watch.
wish i hadnt now. even though all our youngsters looked good.
i have no idea why Vidic and Rio were taking the first few pen's.
And we shouldnt of bought Scholes on. Park was doing OK.
Scholes is totally innefective these days.
i like to see it when old players are still doing well for their clubs... but yeah Neville and Scholes arent amazing anymore.
I hoped Foster would save a few pens, just to atleast get noticed by Capello. but he probably made it worse. Jagielkas goal... he made little attempt to save the defeat.
Foster was SO SLOW today. Everytime he got the ball passed back he took like 30 secs to fucking kick it. I think he likes the camera time or something.
Plus he needs to tuck his shirt in. Im not convinced by Foster at all yet. Hes looked shaky in all games apart from the carling cup final imo. I thought this ever since he got lobbed at Celtic park in the CL.
im glad howard saved the first two. im sure he felt good about himself after that.
but in reality i dont think man u care they lost. i think sir alex can say whatever he wants about how the FA cup is important, the league and CL trumps easily.
milan 2-0 at the half. 2 pippo goals, off of 2 beckham crosses. seriously cannot emphasize what an asset his ball playing ability is.
and pippo, what else can you say, this guy can play till hes 40 easy. maybe longer. hes has a hunger for goals like a shark does flesh.
