yea that shit is retarded. they need to do the voting after the season. giggs hasnt even regularly been playing lately. im not a big rooney fan but he should def be on it over anelka.

yeah but remember this is the award voted for by all the other players so you have to respect their decision cos thats who was the majority player voted for! personally i dont agree with it but we will see who the proper player of the year will be when the football writers award is given

Chelsea were very good today, they played with discipline and defended really well. They looked to play on the counter and just crowd the midfield. It worked, they allowed Barca to keep the ball and pass it about.

If Chelsea had a more offensive mind, Barca would have ripped them apart on the counter attack.

Its open for both teams, but i can see Chelsea beating Barca at Stamford Bridge because of Barca's defence not being at full strength.
