Asian also.
I agree, it's all Floyd's fault. He sat there like "i know, i don't wanna fight manny so i'll ask him to take olympic style random testing because i know he's superstitious and will say no even though he's full of tattoos. that should work." lmfao. Talk about logic, man.
Manny's camp have done nothing but go back on what they've said throughout this whole negotiating period.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw5wi0rSzOA
Again, I'm a fan of both fighters, but shit, y'all are just haters. Floyd ain't ducked Manny, if you wanna blame anyone, blame Bob Arum.
^ ty lol, i didn't know how to get the video to play on here, i'm new to this shit.
Its' perfect logic for Mayweather's team actually. Floyd knew that Manny would say no because HE'S JUICED. Mayweather camp has been making these accusations since right after the Hatton fight....it's a ploy man. If they believe he's juiced they obviously never wanted the fight OR they don't believe that he's juiced and have been making false claims the whole time...bring on the lawsuit. Personally, I feel that it's obvious now that Manny is hiding something and that Floyd's team is right about the accusations but I don't believe for a second hat Floyd ever intended on fighting him. Why would he fight against a guy that's juiced...it doesn't add up. Not sayin they're scared or whatever, just that they knew what would happen when they made this request. Peace-
I think Pacquiao's terms and specifications are perfectly fair. Boxing is a sport where split seconds and small percantages can be hugely detrimental to a fight, therefore Pacquiao doesn't want to diminish his advantage by taking blood out of his body before the biggest fight of his career as it isn't natural in the slightest, pissing, however, is. I guess the ball's in Mayweather's court now, Pacquiao has told him what he wants, so take it or leave it, a lot of money is to be made, all you have to do is sign on the dotted line, Floyd.
For the record, I don't like all this "guilty until proven innocent" bullshit. Nobody was accusing Pacquiao of using illegal substances until Malignaggi pointed it out and Mayweather blew it out of proportion, if there's no evidence there's no evidence. Pacquiao destroyed De La Hoya because Oscar was weight drained and old, he destroyed Hatton because Hatton sucks, and he destroyed Cotto because maybe Cotto is on the slide. Fuck all the haters, let's get the fight on.
^ The amount of blood drawn from the body can be regenerated in less than an hour. He wouldn't be weak and, even if he was (which he wouldn't), Floyd would be weak too because he's agreed to undergo the same tests.
Less than an hour??????? If you were donating blood, which is not really a sizeable amount, it could take up to six weeks to regenerate that blood. If you were giving a blood sample, it may take either a few hours or a day; and even then, all the minerals, vitamins, nutrients, and sufficient amount of oxygen would not be fully replenished in time, not to mention that the wound can also numb the area or permanently leave it weaknened.
Floyd may have agreed to take it, but Pacquiao still doesn't wanna go in there knowing he, himself, has been slightly damaged. Be it mentally or physically.
It's less than an hour. It's like half a table spoon of blood each time they decide to take blood.
Freddie Roach has gone from saying (and see the video I posted) he'd take any style of random testing, to he's afraid of needles, to it's a superstition he has that makes him THINK he's not at 100% for up to 3 days.
I don't think for a second Manny is juicing, but if it's anyones fault this fight hasn't happened it's Manny's camp, i.e. Bob Arum. He's made a big deal out of nothing and took the fight from the fans.
its floyds fault. he is no position to try to change the rules of boxing. Manny is game enough to meet his demands halfway. and really in the 30 days manny wants, if he is juicing hes not gonna accomplish alot in the few days he has between the 30 day mark and post fight cuz he would have to give time to get that shit out his system.
^ exactly. That is the bottom line here.
FLOYDS EGO
Its detrimental to himself because he is not going to back it up in the ring.
Could u see Ali saying I'm not going to fight Foreman unless he takes a drug test for juicing???
Give me a fucking break.
This is without a doubt the single dumbest request anyone has ever made..
If i was Manny I would have laughed and never even entertained it for a second.
I wouldnt even have tried to meet him have way.
manny should have laughed
but the difference is manny wants to fight, floyd doesnt.
Just like when Manny changed the rules so the 147 belt was contested at 145 against Miguel Cotto? It's aight when Manny's doing it though, right?
It's blood testing, why are people acting like he's asking for something that's totally out of order? Olympians take the same test, so to do world class athletes like Lance Armstrong. It's no big deal.
wieght is always negotiated
theyre supposedly going to try to negotiate again this week so well see what happens then.
Weight is negotiated when the 147 BELT is being contested? It's the 147 belt for a reason. Manny used his own superstar status so that Miguel Cotto, a worldclass 147 fighter, had to come in at 145.
Pac Maniacs are blinded by this mans dick. Take a step back and look at it from a neutral POV, this is craziness most of you are talking.
Floyds fuckin up. He's living up to his name of dodging fights in clever ways. I wasnt entirely sure until this episode, but its clear, Floyd is a fight dodger.
If I was Manny, the bigges fiht of my career theres no way I want to loose blood 24 hours before the fight. Fuck that. Floyd can put up with that better because of his style of fighting, uses less energy.
Manny agreed to the testing, then when they did Floyd's camp came up with a unagreeable further drug stipulations, that they knew full well Manny wouldnt agree to.
I used to like Floyd before this, but fuck Floyd now, hes a bitch.
who u think would win and why?
no dickriding
no talk about the negotiations
if this fight happened tomorrow who would u bet on?
this was supposed to be a poll
There already is a thread about those two boxers. Plus the topic is also being discussed in the boxing thread.
IMO its gonna be a war
and i think manny got a better chin then floyd, is slighty faster and stronger, but floyd got more technique
I cant even say who I think would win because I dont know. I think they are both great fighters at the peak of their careers.
It is so disapointing that about the bullshit thats going on because the best thing for boxing is these two fighting at least twice.
I really dont kno who would win. thats why its such a great draw
fuck another thread, im not discussing the same fucking thing in 3 seperate threads
if yo were even smart enough to add a poll, this thread would still be pointless, the fact that you didnt though, equals epic fail.
someone needs to add a poll to the real Manny vs Mayweather thread.
floyd is scared straight up.
it is his ego.
look at him what hes doing,
hes not even serious about training.
hes spending too much time tryna be a celebrity
focusing on partying instead of fighting.
You people are stupid when you keep saying "if mayweather wanted this fight then there'd be a fight". Your completely missing the point. Mayweather wants a fair fight and with this amount of money at stake where his career and rep are on the line, if he has any suspicion that manny is juicing then he has every right to hold off until otherwise.
Mayweather is the one who wanted the drug testing changed, but Manny is the one who scheduled another fight. come on now
http://pinoyworld.files.wordpress.co...-scandal-8.jpg
bc manny doesnt dodge fights. floyd dodged because hes a pussy, so manny decided to fight someone else.
exactly...
And manny was never suspected of juicing before this.
Its a corny ploy and I didnt for a minute fall for any of mayweathers little games.
Its obvious pretty boy dont want none.
He is obviously not ready
if floyds not ducking then why dont he fight cotto or mosely?
Floyd has never fought any of the top notch contenders that everyone wanted to see him fight.
He is a fraud to me...yea he has a ton of skill and could be the greatest but if you dont fight the best of your era than you cannot be the greatest.
Its Roy Jones II
We know Pac is fighting Clottey on March 13, but supposedly Mayweather is fighting that same day. The opponent for Mayweather is still to be determined, but they have ruled out Matthew Hatton. Everyone from Nate Campbell, Timothy Bradley, Kermit Cintron, Paulie Maliggani (I know I misspelled it) have been thrown around as possible opponents. I know half of these guys aren't at 147 but those are the names rumored. If he wins on March 13 (perfect number for an upset) they're even mentioning Mosley (if he wins) as an opponent after March 13's fight, but we'll believe it when we see it.
mosley is at the end of his career so im sure floyd would take that fight
That's because it won't ever happen.
Clottey is a very hard fight for anyone, including Pacquiao, so it's gonna be an interesting one. Mayweather also has a few interesting choices as well, I'm pretty sure none of them potenital opponents will just roll over and take a beating.
didnt mosley get caught using roids? i wonder how floyd would handle that

Isn't this sorta like the shit Scott Hall used to do?
^^
What does that have to do with boxing? lol
R.I.P. to Joe Rollino.
**NYC amusement park strongman, 104, killed by van.
NEW YORK – A famed strongman who once lifted 3,200 pounds at Coney Island during its heyday and was still bending quarters with his fingers at age 104 died Monday after he was hit by a minivan.
Joe Rollino was struck as he crossed Bay Ridge Parkway in Brooklyn, and suffered a broken pelvis, head trauma and broken ribs. He died a few hours later at an area hospital. Police said the driver was going the speed limit and had not been drinking. No criminality is suspected, but the driver was issued a summons for a defective horn.
During his storied life, Rollino hobnobbed with Harry Houdini, watched Jack Dempsey knock out Jess Willard and was friendly with Mario Lanza. He even had a bit part in "On the Waterfront."
Rollino would've been 105 on March 19, and was the model of health, according to friends. A vegetarian for life, he didn't drink or smoke, his friends said, and he exercised every day. He was a lifetime boxer and was part of the Oldetime Barbell and Strongmen, an organization of men who can still rip book binders at the seam.
Retired NYPD detective Arthur Perry, who boxed in the New York City Golden Gloves in the mid-1960s, met Rollino at his birthday party in 2008 and didn't believe Rollino was the celebrant — he looked too good for a centenarian.
"It was astonishing, how he was smiled upon by nature," Perry said. "If you would've said to me he was 80, I'd have said he looked younger."
A decorated World War II veteran, Rollino got his start as a strongman in the 1920s during the high point of the Coney Island carnival, and he billed himself as the "Strongest Man in the World."
He later made a living as a traveling boxer under the name Kid Dundee and fought in armories in cities around the country where boxing was forbidden.
Rollino said in 2008 that he was just simply born strong.
"Fighters would hit me in the jaw and I'd just look at them. You couldn't knock me out," he told writer Robert Mladinich in an interview for the boxing Web site The Sweet Science.
Mladinich said Rollino had a slew of followers who worshipped him. "He was instrumental in their positive development," he said. "He was an athletic mentor and a father figure to them."
One is 10-time Golden Glove winner Peter Spanakos, whose twin brother, Nick, roomed with Cassius Clay during the 1960 Olympics in Rome. The two met in the 1950s on the beach.
"He's a hero's hero. We should celebrate him," Spanakos said. "A true patriot, an athlete's athlete."
At Rollino's birthday party last year, Spanakos gave him a quarter, and Rollino bent it between his fingers.
"And you know what, he apologized. He said he used to be able to do it with a dime."

if manny agrees to random blood tests, the fight will be on
but manny doesn't want random blood testing
i wonder why manny doesnt want random blood testing
and i wonder why mayweather wants random blood testing
i wonder
