Prodigy - The Hegelian Dialectic (1 The Book of Revelation)... probably we won't see a part 2 no more. RIP P
I was wondering that too. He must have had some stuff laying around.
Prodigy's Hegelian Dialectic is a gem of an album.
It is, without a doubt, P's best work -- his last before he passed.
This is a new Prodigy -- a politically, socially, and morally conscious Prodigy.
The album is a call to arms, a call to action. A call to a new consciousness. (No wonder conspiracy theories abound about his death). TAKE A LISTEN!!!
The production keeps Mobb Deep's sinister sounds but without the menace. Think 4th Disciple's production on Heavy Mental but more accessible.
Prodigy was an original -- he had that inexplicable quality as an artist that diminished what ever flaws he had as a MC.
A must-have for all Hip Hop heads!!!!
