Houllier will stay with Lyon, and win a couple more titles. Though seeing the likes of Fred, Cris, Adibal, Diarra and Coupet are being tipped to leave, he may leave instead of build a new side.
As for Shevchenko joining Chelsea, I say fair enough, can't see him scoring more than 20 in a season though, Lampard and Ballack take a lot of shots from midfield (The former being one of the reasons Drogba wants to leave).
Cris and Fred won't leave Lyon.
Fred perhaps not. Cris wants to join Milan apparently, but they're after Gallas so I doubt he'll go this summer
well if shevchenko leaves milan which most likely he is, milan will have a lot of money to spend from this transfer. so gallas is likely, cris is also a high possibility, i dont know about fred. maybe if lyon want drogba, they will sell cris and fred to make up some of the transfer fee for drogba.
gallas is part of the sheva deal. lots of $+gallas=Sheva.
and ballack is way over rated. you watch and see.
ballack is a good footballer, he dropped a bit at bayern but we saw what he can do when he was at leverkusen and in the 2002 world cup. his a leader, a hard working midfielder. he is adored in germany for being a leader, because without ballack the german team would be really shit. look at his record for a midfielder he scores a lot of goals. the only problem with ballack is his temper, he gets booked quite often.
4 years ago i woulda said edgar davids was one of the best midfielders in the world too.

Fred is the future of Lyon. he didn't play much this year, but will get more time on the pitch next year.
Lyon made a mistake with Nilmar, and now he got finally transfered to Corinthians, and is really good. so this year, they didn't expect much about Fred, they let him play smoothly, but next year, they will have great expectations about him.

Glen Johnson, Frank Ribery, Jean Makoun and Kim Kallstrom are all seemingly headed that way, if they lost Cris I wouldn't be suprised if they tried to lure Thuram back to France as well

Any team on the day can beat Chelsea, we are not invincible. Man U, Newcastle, Fulham, Middlesbrough and Blackburn all beat us last season in the league. And if we lose Gallas we are fucked.

I don't see why people say Chelsea is ruining the league ... Damn, that's other team's fault if they lack in regularity. It's like in France with Lyon, the problem doesn't come from them, it comes from other teams which are fucked up.
France played a very nice match yesterday ... it's sad, but Ribery brought much more than Zidane did. Another very nice goal from Henry, Chibonda was very interesting with his rushes on the right side... I really think this team will go far in this WC.
Chimbonda is really nice. Hes only been in the Premiership for a year but hes got into the team of the season. I would like to see more of him at the WC but I dont think he'll be 1st choice.
