SEVEN five star recruits in this Ohio State class.
I'm not sure who your fatass roots for but they don't have 7.
Oh hey dirty, I see Miami really loaded up on the 3 stars looking solid in that 16 spot. Great job! Coach Tressel says hi!

Kansas State's Bill Snyder to retire
Bill Snyder’s second run at Kansas State is coming to an end.
The 79-year-old coach’s retirement will be announced on Sunday according to multiple reports. Kansas State finished 5-7 in 2018 and missed a bowl game for the first time since 2009, the first year of Snyder’s second stint with the team.
Pete Thamel reported Sunday morning that Snyder’s future with the team would be decided in the afternoon. He also named some candidates for the job.
If the expected happens and Kansas State today and Bill Snyder doesn't return, here's the names to watch: Chris Klieman NDSU, Seth Littrell UNT, Craig Bohl Wyoming, Mike Norvell Memphis and Blake Anderson ArkSt. Brent Venables has been clear in past he has no interest.

Snyder is KSU’s most successful coach … by far
Snyder is the man responsible for making Kansas State’s football program relevant nationally. He took over a terrible program in 1989 and won five games in his second season. Kansas State had won four games in the previous five seasons. He retired after the 2005 season but returned to coach the Wildcats after a three-year Ron Prince tenure.
Kansas State’s best success came from 1995-2000. The Wildcats were ranked in the AP top 10 at least once in all six of those seasons and reached as high as No. 2 in 1998 and 2000. KSU had four-straight 11-win seasons from 1997-2000.
The greatest and most heartbreaking season for the Wildcats came in 1998. K-State conquered Nebraska that season and stormed out to an 11-0 record. A win over Texas A&M in the Big 12 title game would mean the Wildcats would play for the national championship.
The Aggies upset Kansas State 36-33 and ruined the undefeated season. Kansas State ended up in the Alamo Bowl, where it lost to Drew Brees and Purdue to finish 11-2.
The program hasn’t reached those consistent heights in Snyder’s second tenure. It’s gone to a bowl game for eight straight seasons but hasn’t won more than nine games in a season since 2012. One more loss in 2018 would mean Kansas State would miss a bowl game for the sixth time since 1993.
Snyder was diagnosed with throat cancer before the Wildcats played in the Texas Bowl. He coached the game and announced the cancer diagnosis in February of 2017. He said in April of that year that he had completed his cancer treatments.
Snyder’s career record will stand at 215-117. He’s one of just six KSU coaches to have winning records at the school and no other Kansas State coach has more than 33 victories. Perhaps more remarkably, Kansas State has been to 19 bowls over the course of Snyder’s two tenures. The program has two bowl appearances under other coaches.
The Boise St. vs Boston College bowl game was postponed cause of lightning and won't be rescheduled at all? They couldn't wait a day? lol
Notre Dame got trashed. I'm surprised they went undefeated during the season.
Pitt should have beaten Notre Dame.
Hopefully they will on November 1, 2036.
Hawaii without a home stadium after Aloha Stadium, a former Pro Bowl site, reportedly will be condemned

Hawaii needs a new home stadium.
Aloha Stadium, the site of the Warriors’ home games and the former site of the NFL’s Pro Bowl, said Thursday that it was ceasing fan-attended operations indefinitely. That leaves Hawaii without a place to play football until its new football stadium is built.
“We are beyond disappointed of the news at today’s announcement from the Aloha Stadium Authority that there will be no further events in the current stadium with fans,” Hawaii athletic director David Matlin said in a statement. “Aloha Stadium has such a storied history and carries so many memories for our football program and generations of Hawaii families. We must now take responsibility ourselves to find a suitable venue for our Rainbow Warriors, Hawaii’s football team, to play in front of our loyal fans beginning in 2021.”
The Aloha Stadium Authority said that the closure was fueled by financial issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, though there may be more than that. The stadium, built in 1975, has been plagued by maintenance issues in recent years. A 2019 story from the Honolulu Star-Advertiser noted that the stadium needed $30 million over the next two years for repairs.
According to KHON2, the stadium will be condemned and has been deemed unsafe to hold any crowds at all, though the stadium authority disputes that the closure to fans is related to any structural issues.
Part of the statement provided to KHON2 states: “The Stadium Authority has been clear the moratorium on new events within the stadium bowl are not related to structural issues. Rather, this difficult decision has been made due to economic conditions stemming from COVID-19 safety restrictions as noted in the release.”
The Hula Bowl on Jan. 31 is still set to be played at Aloha Stadium without fans. The stadium hosted the NFL Pro Bowl every year but one from 1980 to 2013 and then one last time in 2015 before the NFL moved the event to Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Money was appropriated in the summer of 2019 to build a new Aloha Stadium but the new stadium is not set to open until before the 2023 season. Hawaii’s 2020 regular season is already over and the team’s final game of the year will be at the New Mexico Bowl on Dec. 24.
Hawaii needs a stadium with a 15,000 minimum capacity
Hawaii’s search for a new home stadium may be a tricky one. Teams at the top level of college football must have a stadium that seats a minimum of 15,000 people. And there aren’t that many stadiums in the state.
The only other stadium in the state that has a capacity over the FBS minimum is War Memorial Stadium on the island of Maui. The multi-use facility has a 20,000 person capacity, though the Hawaii football team would have to fly to every home game. If Hawaii played at a smaller stadium it would have to get a waiver from the NCAA. And it would also be sacrificing potential ticket revenue in a smaller stadium.
The final four was announced. Bama vs Notre Dame, Clemson vs Ohio St. They are going to disenfranchise the casual fan who is tired of the same teams every year.
Texas A&M, Cincinnati, and Coastal Carolina thought they should have made it.
I don't know how you justify Notre Dame getting in. That game with Clemson wasn't even close. The win earlier was with numerous Clemson players sitting out. No matter, they will get destroyed by Bama.
Liberty ends No. 12 Coastal Carolina's undefeated season in a crazy overtime bowl game finish
Bama vs Ohio St. for the CFB final. Who wants to bet the viewership for this is at all time low. No one outside of Ohio St. or Bama fans wants to see these teams win. There is a true monopoly of a select few teams in college football that are basically elite and are continuously at the top.
All time high maybe. Nobody has a bigger following than Ohio State and Bama is Bama they’re a top dog.
If it was Clemson rematch I would say all time low. We haven’t played Bama in 6 years.
We will see. Both schools do have huge fan bases. But I I am thinking about casual fans who want someone to route for or against. Reminds me of the Superbowl from a year back, Rams vs Patriots. Both big fan bases, but nobody outside cared.
Why they play the CFB final on a Monday night? Makes no sense, everybody got work or school the next day. In regular times it meant no watch parties or big bar crowds. The entire. NCAA is incompetent though, why not have 8 teams or more even. Dont give the consumers what they want is a pretty sound way do business.
Maybe teams like Coastal Carolina would have kept it a little closer playing Alabama instead. Ohio St. isn't up to the task.
All time low, like I thought. People want to see something different.

But it was going to be highest rated maybe, what happened? Probably should listen to ya boy more. CFB will be on a steady decline unless the there is more parity. There needs to be some real contenders from every conference.
There aren’t any real contenders. It’s why Ohio State Clemson and Alabama run through the conference with ease every year. Even when Wisconsin gets two cracks at us they lose.
Who cares if it declines. I don’t make money off it.
Nebraska is going to continue to suck because they can’t take the prop 48 rejects like Phillips. As soon as that happened they declined. It was a recruiting advantage they seized up for about 20 years.
I really don't follow Nebraska to closely. The prop 48 probably did some decent damage. Most of their decline can be linked to changing conferences though. They really don't fit in the Big 10 for a lot of reasons. I think Missouri and maybe even A&M are also seeing that they would better suited in the Big 12 also.
Mostly. Everybody wanted to start Big 12 network to equal Big 10 network. Texas started Longhorn network and had heavy influence on direction of conference that pissed off the defectors. The commissinor of Big 12 was entirely inept and could have prevented all of the schools from leaving. They would be wise to try and entice some of these schools to come back since the conference seems to be second tier behind Big 10,SEC, ACC.
All of the mentioned above happened during Dan Beebes tenor as commissioner. He is basically regarded as a total fuckup who was able to destroy a conference because he was unqualified and let UTexas easily manipulate him.
I listened to podcast that was saying the decline in popularity of NCAA football in recent years is directly related to the cancellation of NCAA football video game. It kinda made sense.
No. What they were saying was. It was a good way to reach young fans and also fans that are not in a big college fball area. Say like a NFL city, where that gets more attention. I did hear just now, it might be coming back.
Yea it is.
I mean I don’t agree with that logic at all. Columbus is about two and a half hours away in another market and Ohio State is massive in northeast Ohio and throughout the entire state.
Why would they need video games to reach an audience when they play games all day saturday on about 8 different channels plus fridays and weekdays?
Like I said I’m good with it declining. It’s better for the true fan.
There are big markets with little CFB exposure that benefit from having a game to spark interest. Some more parity would be proably help also. I don't really care that much either. It just seems like CFB is not as interesting as it once was. But there are other factors to consider too.
Nebraska sucks and has moved into another conference and gutted your nostalgia and taken away rivalry games that existed for a half a century or more.
I’d lose interest if I was you too.
You can’t have parity in the college ball. They already limit the scholarship count and do revenue sharing.
If USC is down it’s because they haven’t hired a good coach since that sleaze all Pete Carroll.
Texas sucks because they hire Charlie Strong and Tom Herman.
FSU went from Jimbo Fisher to two straight bums.
little ol Clemson is a big dog now because of Dabo.
The programs that compete every year are well oiled machine who have great coaches in common.
Ohio States success is directly tied to hall of Fame coaches and infrastructure.
And being in prime recruiting locations doesn’t hurt either.
Look at Florida with Urban Meyer and without.
If Urban wanted the ND job he would have turned them into title contenders yearly. They’d be siphoning recruits from the state of Ohio.
^^Agree with all that. Coaching influences success in football more then any other sport. Thats why you see constant turnover even at powerhouse programs when they dont contend regularly.
RIP to Colt Brennan
Oklahoma and Texas to the SEC. NCAAf is becoming NFL clone.
RIP to legendary Florida St. coach Bobby Bowden.
UTSA is still undefeated
UGA vs Bama. Snoozefest. Round 3. Nobody is watching this. Ratings will be brutal.
