ok so nobody knows the name of the song sampled for the intro to "condinioner" on the W album feat. odb and snoop dog.

you know it starts off....." my mind is in a daze".......

the song is preformed by the group in the movie the mack. in the opening credits it list's three groups. the uptights, the ballads and the sisters soul.

im thinking it has to be ether the uptights or the ballads. been trying to find out but can't find any music on them. need the name of the song to find out though.

lets see what yall can come up with from that info.

The Ballads sounds the most likely. It could be the Uptights, but their sound is more funk from the stuff I have. I only have the album with Marvin Holmes though. I've also seen Gene McDaniels credited as a lyricist on that movie. I'm checking for his stuff too.
