Yes, a blackwoman wants a blackman that takes care of his responsibilities.

The problem is that those kinda men don't hold power in society. I mean, the intelligent Blackman is not valued in Amerikkka. He is usually punished for being mentally dominant....just like MLK, Malcolm X...and so many others were.

The Blackmen who look powerful are the ones who are physically strong and dominant but mentally stupid and submissive. They look sexy and atrractive to the Black woman because she can see that they have some kind of power and value in society....and she also don't have to worry about them being smarter than her or as smart as she is. She can continue to keep her sense of false pride that she got from the white man. She can keep on staying safe while being a good slave for Masta.

Thugs look powerful and valuable to Blackwomen because they represent the physical strength that Amerikkka rewards the Blackman for and they also represent the mental stupidity that makes the Black woman with low self esteem think that she actually feels good about herself.

I think it's a perfect scenario but, only when the older man is already on his square before he enters the relationship. That way the woman can see exactly what she is getting into and can see for herself what feeling safe and proud is really like.

Hmmmm...............I think I understand what you're saying here. So, let me get a clear understanding of this..... The reason why I'm being looked down upon my own women is because of my kindness and intelligence and the way I carry myself? Hmmmm......It makes sence now. Most African-American women rate mental stupidity higher than intelligence because they feel that if an African-American male is intelligent, he's consider to be weak in their eyes. Also, in the hood, intelligence is a sign of weakness, seriously. I remember when I first moved to Detroit, MI back in '98, mostly everyone was picking on me because I spoke proper english, not ebonics like most people did. I don't do drugs nor do I drink, that's a sign of weakness. I attend a University, I get good grades, I'm well mannered, and I have a job. Hmmm....I assuming that's a perfect sign of weakness for African-American men as well. Even the women here at WSU are looking for African-American men that are "Thug like" in some way. For example, my freshman year in college, a 20 year old lady approach me when I was standing in a long line at McDonlds. She told me that I had a nice body and I was cute and everything. A few days of getting to know me, she lost interest in me because I was not a "thug" type African-American male. I showed her all of my high school awards that I received in my senior year back in 11/04. I told her that I graduated with a 3.6 G.P.A. and with honors in high school. I assuming that she took my intelligence and kindness for a weakness. So this is the reason why African-American women choose not to have a serious relationship with me because of who I am on the inside and out? Hmmmm..........

But, don't give up on the sistas. I know it seems like your not appreciated....just keep your eyes open for that diamond in the ruff, sometimes she just may need a lil polishing. So that when you shine the light of your intelligence she can reflect it back to you, your seeds and everybody around. That's love right there.
