When the corporations got their hooks into it and it became all about the money and all of a sudden good music didn't matter. Just like rock before it only even worse.

And the deaths of Big and Pac were sad but that couldn't kill hip-hop. Hip-hop was always bigger than two rappers and it killed itself or allowed others to kill it, take your pick. And I couldn't even feel that sorry for Big and Pac they brought it on themselves. If you want to feel sorry for someone feel sorry for Big L.
