I was reading somewhere that Method Man really didn't like his album himself. Well, if the artist doesn't like HIS own album then I have no choice but to knock down points on this so I gave him a "Banger" cause he did have some good shit on it. Meth, if you didn't like your own shit,then I will give you an 8!
this was actually the first wu album i ever heard. i was a big hiphop fan, but hadnt heard 36 yet.
so, tical was my first introduction to wu, other than the single "method man" from 36. tical made me realize how different wu was and how special hiphop could be, and how much better wu was than everyone else. period!!
the rest is history.
definately a 9.5, Meth even said he rushed the album, thats the only reason its not a ten
why would you knock an album because someone else doesnt like it even if its the artists that made it? thats their opinion, you have your own mind and ears.
artists can be their own worst critics, especially method man.
