Zooruka, if God loves each of us equally and will forgive all of our sins regardless of how extreme they are, how could he sit there knowing that some people are burning in Hell for all eternity when all he has to do is allow them in heaven..........?

Because he knows that are people out there who are un repentant and nothing you say to them will ever make them change...but God has forgiven us and allowed us to be forgiven through the sacrifice of his son Jesus on the cross other wise nobody would go to heaven and all would be condemed to hell because as the bible states we have all sinned and fallen short of God...but God knows that there are people that can change regardless of there past mistakes and so he provided a way for us to be reconciled with him (God), so if God wasn`t forgiving and merciful he would have said right you have all sinned and I will never forgive you for the mistakes you made and condem all of us, but he didn`t because he is Good and loving and merciful.

your understanding of this verse is fundamentally flawed. If Jesus is the way and the truth, it is following in the footsteps of his actions and how he carried himself that is your salvation. Only when you can carry yourself with universal love and respect in your mind and heart can you come understand God's true meaning.
