blueprint 3 was a cool album, but dont judge the niggas career off of that release!!!!!
saying jay-z's peak was a guest verse on big l's album shows how unfamiliar the nigga is with jays material!!!!!
he was real raw there, he has countless verses that hit harder with more polish!!!!!!
in fact id say jays skillset probably peaked on the black album, thats one of the best mic performances of his career!!!!
ask anyone that considers themself a lyricist what they think of that album, the pure technical aspect of it makes niggas wanna step their game up!!!!!! no flow was the same and his cadence and delivery were maxed out!!!!!! almost every line on that album was a quotable, straight up!!!!!!
and while i liked blueprint 3, jay wasnt going all the way in on that project like he could, american gangster verified sean carter is still a threat to spazz on a record!!!!! his verses on there were loaded with crazy multis and metaphors and delivered with slick presentation!!!!!!
