Cuban linx 2 is my favourite album from the last few years by along shot, I feel it is a classic, some argue it isn't. No one doubts it is a quality release though. On the 2nd album there was actually more variation in the subject matter than on the origional cuban linx (i.e. not all coke rap). So i can't possibly see why any genuine Wu fan would dissapprove of Rae doing what he knows and does better than anyone else.
On a kind of side note one reason I always liked the clan as a crew was that through all the members you got plenty variation with each one bringing something different.
For the people against it what would you suggest Rae do?
Try and preach like Gza/Killah Priest? Crazy like ODB? Weed smoking joker like Meth? Hippy shit like Rza?
Or do you want the chef to do social commentry, when that clearly aint him.
If he tried to switch it wouldn't be him and the same folk would be calling him a sell out
i think he should do something else, we don't really need a third in the trilogy.. he can do shit of the same quality and direction just give it a unique name because it will seem like hes milking it now
