I think that everyone on this forum would not know what the Nation of the Gods and Earths is, if it weren't for Wu Tang music.

Mr. Allah Jihad should be thankful. In a sense, I doubt 5 percenters would be increasing at such a rate if not for Wu Tang music. I think their contribution is worth more then then money for a benefit concert. Besides, from the likes of the article, it appears Mr. Jihad is not very smart.

An interesting original post to this thread. The point I take away from it is that religion/way of life teachings are often for the poor or those in bad situations. Its obvious that as Wu have grown in their careers (and got more money) that spirtually their music has deteriorated. But I don't really think that this is a point of criticism for the Wu as they are doing what most people would. Most people loose their religion for the same reasons.

I think u got the term 5% figured out all wrong. We're not saying that we are only 5% of the Muslim world. because we are not Muslims. We are not saying that we are 5% of the Islamic world either for that matter. 5% is a representation of the enlightened, righteous people of the planet earth. Islam means "total submission to the will of Allah". Islam is a the original man's nature (his TRUE way of life).
