what about ....
Fugazi?
13 songs and steady diet of nothing - tossup for best album
never really listened to Fugazi
I like The Doors though, Misfits, some Kiss, Stone Roses, Kinks, loads of stuff
You heard this before Style, one of my favorite songs, takes a while to get started, stick with it
Preferencially speaking, I'd rather listen to the earlier more aggressive songs off of "Opiate" or "Undertow". Oh, and musically speaking, "Aenima" was by far their best. Saying "Lateralus" was their best is like saying Bulletproof Wallets was GFK's best.Quote:

fixed
Right now though, I"m bumping Alabama Thunderpussy, Kyuss, Acid King, and GWAR and shit.
Me now.... 091Alabama_Song_(Whiskey_Bar)The_Best_of_The_Doors 09
Yeah, you should chekc out Kyuss. Classic stoner/aggressive stoner metal.
Oh shit, 6 degrees of seperation...I got a Tool cover of Kyuss's "Demon Cleaner".
Derek and the dominos, Layla and other love songs, the whole album
i was misquoted!
I think I prefer Aenima actually but i hear alot of people say Lateralus is their best.
Stinkfist, 46 & 2, Aenima are prolly my favorite songs from them
On a side note, the 90's were my favorite time for alternative rock just likes it was my favorite for hip hop.
Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains etc. all great bands
its all a matter of preference true.
Tool have a pretty wide range, which means that most people can appreciate their work to some degree.
i still think Aenema and Lateralus are pretty much in the same league.
id only say Aenema is better because i heard it first.
J Holiday
My bad about the misquote. I was trying to quote StyleMaster
The only reason I say Aenima is because they seemed to have a real good balance of the more edgey kind play with the more abstract/trippy kind of shit. Where Lateralus to me got bogged down in the abstract shit. I'm not saying Lateralus wasn't an amazing album, I'm just saying I liked the balance of Aenima better.
But yeah, it pretty much is a matter of preference with Tool, plus either way...Tool is nasty.
Hellz yeah. I love the 90's feel when it comes to that shit. Alice In Chains, Primus, STP...all that shit.Quote:
