my favorite track isssss RAGU , classik shit nigga
1. The Return Of Clyde Smith (Intro) 2/5 - not necessary
2. Shakey Dog - 5/5 reminds me of Maxine on BPW
3. Kilos w/ Raekwon - 4/5 VERY CATCHY HOOK
4. The Champ - 5/5 - They took out the original Rocky sample, but reinacted pretty well
5. Major Operation (Skit) - too short to even review
6. Nine Milli Brothers w/ Wu-Tang Clan & Cappadonna - 4.5/5 - no RZA verse lessens it
7. Beauty Jackson - 4/5 - dope but short
8. Heart Street Directions (skit) - 3/5 this is a pretty funny skit
9. Columbus Exchange/Crack Spot - 3.5/5
10. R.A.G.U. (Rae And Ghost United) w/ Raekwon - 5/5 lovely
11. Bad Mouth Kid (skit) - 5/5 - this is the funniest skit since Woodrow the Basehead
12. Whip You With A Strap - 5/5 - classic
13. Back Like That w/ Ne-Yo - 3/5 - it's cool, just too similar to never be the same again
14. Be Easy w/ Trife Da God - 4/5
15. Clipse Of Doom w/ Trife Da God - 5/5 hotness
16. Jellyfish w/ Cappadonna, Trife Da God & Shawn Wiggs - 4.5/5 Trife kills it
17. Dogs Of War w/ Raekwon, Sun God, Trife Da God & Cappadonna - 4/5
18. Babrershop - 3.5/5 - the second verse is not here
19. Ms Sweetwater (skit) - irrelevant
20. Big Girl - 4/5 Ghost again spittin over a jacked soul song
21. Underwater - 5/5 dont know what this nigga was smokin or sniffin or injecting here , but whoa
22. The Ironman Takeover (Skit) - n/a
23. Momma w/ Megan Rochell - 4/5 sounds like a song Pac would do(i.e. Keep Ya Head Up)
24. 3 Bricks w/ Raekwon & Notorious B.I.G. - 4/5 some hate it, some dont. I'm feelin it
After 2 listens I'ma rank this 3rd behind SC & Ironman
Underwater is killin it....his imagination is crazy..
yo this album is sick the new beat from "the champ" is like 100000X better than the one before. i love this shit ... RAGU is fuckin ill and so is the weird ass underwater track. and the last biggie song rides too yall on some crack.
but...
METHOD MAN nor RZA... HAVE A VERSE... and thats wack osn
ite so what changed from the advance to the final? he changed the Just Blaze beat?
Also can someone up Charlie Brown and Can Can and any tracks that did not make the retail? Im savin my appetite and not listening to the officical tracks until it drops but could definitely use some new Ghost to listen to
They dont even treat Ghostface good at DefJam,check the promotion on his last album "the pretty toney album".

I just saw the back like that video, GHOST ya did it again :)
I havent heard much of this album, but im sure ill own it. Its Wu Tang baby. Im looking forward to hearing the track biggie is on. It seems emule already may have the retail.
All i am hearing is Hype Hype Hype. But even though I hated 9 milli off the bootleg this is A FAT IMPROVEMENT. I mean the beat just fits better. Plus the hook is used less. U-God could have spit more aggresively and with a shock banga swagger. And is it me or is this album cheap as fuck? 7 bucks at best buy? iwas expecting like 13. Imma cop 2 one for the 13 year old i punked.
P.S awhh fuck i was feeling that second verse on Barber Shop
DAMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNN
The Champ is CLASSIC, the old one was dope BUT GODDAMN THATS SOME HARDCORE Shit. Shit you can listen to while working out. I know imma get heat off this. The Champ > Ghost Deini w/ lp beat.
RZA is absent from the whole project damn. Didn't think it was eva going happen: RZA not being on a Wu Album.Quote:

Fishscale's just gonna be another flop like all of ghosts other albums. Ghost cracks me up, he's easily got the best flow in all of Wu-tang, but the only time you ever hear him get nice is when he's featured on somebody else's song (G-dep-special delivery remix, Mos Def-Ms. phatbooty 2). Plus he picks that damn "Back Like That" song for the first single trying to hop on the bandwagon with that brand new R&B fag. "Back like that" didn't work the first time he made the song on Bulletproof Wallets. Yeah, it's the same damn song that "Never be the same Again" was with a different beat and a different fag singin in the background.
back like that will be a song that wont make it to my ipod. song is trash
you may like this album though.
I heard the retail version was leaked, can somebody P.M it to me?
I'm still getting it when it drops so ....

Got the retail version, noticed the 9 milli beat sounds dif, IMO they ruined it ....
Another point to mention about the Blender review - Ghost says that he's got "After Taxes" by Sheek Louch and an album called "Soul Of A Man" by Mathematics in his rotation. Guess that's the name of the next Math?
huh? Its the same MF Doom beat from Special Herbs, nothing changed there, its just sounds even better cause its been mastered.Quote:

damn i just heard the fishscale retail version for the first time and its fuckin awesome.. i like it more then i would expect to like it. 9 milli bros and RAGU are absolute WU BANGERS! 9 milli sounds ten times better now with the cleaned up beat, the scrapping of the hook and the cleaned up vocals... serious track!
theres only one track im not really feeling and thats back like that, i like the rest of the album..... im real glad right now cause i think the albums way better then pretty toney and thats what i really wanted ghost to do is make an album better then the last one he did.
Where are yall gettin the retail version...you d/l somewhere? Thought the release was the 28th
I think if ghost wants this to sell he needs a video for 3 bricks!!! Everyone is buying that biggie duets and that song is nice! I think people would respond to that!!!
I just updated the front page with a news item on Fishscale, peep it.
yo 36, you say there that Madlib is on there?!?!?!? I thought he was dropped- did he produce RAGU??Quote:

I don't mind a Rza intro and no Rza rhymes on 9 mili bros, but at least he could have done something cool that suited the song. That intro was WACK!
And i fully support Ghost putting back like that as a single and track on the album. He reaches out to a wider audience that get to hear his music. Besides, the track ain't bad at all.
This is definitly a dope song & Ghost came with some deep lyrics on this !!!! I don't like the track with Ne Yo, but this one is ill. This song should definitly get some radio play. This should have been the 1st single !!!!
