lol, there is usually clouds of smoke and greenery everywhere just left it outta this pic, the space is def conducive to working on music that's all the room is for, computer is behind the chair but it's not involved in any part of music besides backing up/archiving and sharing songs, vocal recording area is to the left, working on installing some acoustic paneling and it'll be a rap. Ima start recording/mastering more stuff at the studio but I'm still finishing off this lab, once i get it all finished I'll post some pics.

yea the Maschine is real cheap compared to an mpc but it's a midi controller you can't really compare them. out of curiosity if you are using midi control of sounds/software in the computer, how are you using the SP? and why would you need two of them? just curiousQuote:

not normally no, its hardware integrated with its own software. you can use Maschine and make a beat without ever looking at the computer screen, which is one reason I chose it cuz i like hardware a lot more. but if you want u can use it as a midi controller in reason, ableton, etc.

got my audio interface in the mail today...shits running a lot smoother now
though i think i need a new laptop this summer, mines two years old but as I get more advanced with my FL Studio game the shit still bogs down my CPU

Check your ASIO settings in FL, make sure it says M-Audio ASIO

but when i unplug it and play through my integrated laptop sound card its perfectly fine
and im testing it on a beat i just made of a simple sample loop, drum loop, and no plugins being used

so yeah i haven't even been using that mobilepre at all haha
