Muslims used Islam as an EXCUSE TO SLAVE WOMEN FOR EXAMPLE. And this is SOMETHING that still happens in africa, but its being ignored completely. And it was mostly MUSLIMS who trade the slaves for Europeans. But all of this is being ignored like it doesnt mean anything.

The difference is a Muslim is one who submits to Allah...
An arab is a race or ethnic origin....
Theres nothing really in connection with the two becuase any human being who submits to allah is a Muslim....

In regards to Slavery...from what i've studied and from what i know, is if a muslim following the Quran and the chracter of the Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) had slaves....he would treat them respectfully....
He would give the one enslaved opportunity to earn his freedom through many, if the muslim had a business he(the slave) may even run part of it or marry one of his(the muslims) daughters....

Which isn't the same as the european slave trade which exploited, dehumanised and stripped human beings of dignity systematically....
