The reason why Bubblebee is a Chevy Camero is because Volkswagen wouldn't give Transformers the rights to use the famous Bug in the movie.Quote:

Another thing that comes into play is replay value, the first Transformers had none whatsoever and I'm guessing the second will be just the same. Just a guess but I can't watch a Michael Bay picture more than once a year LOL

I found the movie to be barely above average.
Full of action.
Low on story/plot.
Full of stupid side characters that were completely pointless
And kind of racist. (The Twins)
Things I liked....
Megatron was badass
Interaction between Megatron and Starscream
Soundwave was badass
Michael Bay pulled the camera back so we could see what was actually happening during fights.
Things I hated
All the new autobots for various reasons (I especially hated the twins)
Sams mum
Crappy random deceptacons that have no purpose except to cover a plot point
Established autobots getting next to no screen time.
Overall I thought it was a mildy entertaining if incredibly stupid film that was made by a director that clearly has no love for the series let alone respects it. Just because it's based off a toy line doesn't mean the film have to move like one.
I do want to see a third movie but hopefully without Michael Bay, he's clearly embarassed by the notion of transforming robots so why not give it to a director who appreciates the characters a lot more.
I haven't seen this but I thought the first was unbelievably cheesy, and don't really have any desire to watch this one. Everyone is raving about how much they wanna see it and how good the first one was, but I just don't see it.
The action and animation was kinda good in the first one but overall I thought it was a pretty forgettable movie and I wouldn't wanna watch it again like Jeru said.
And the extreme close up cameras during the fight scenes like Tauro said is so god damn annoying, why do they do that?

I've never been a Transformers fan but the first one was so hyped that I went to see it and I left the theatre deaf from one ear, bored and lost 2 and a half hours of my life I could've used to get drunk or something LOL. And I'm not blaming it on the concept of The Transformers or the fact that execs wanna rape everything into a movie. I'm blaming it, like Tauro, on the director. Michael Bay only cares about the next thing to blow up. No character development, no consistent storyline ( allthough that's the writers fault ). Everybody knew a second one was coming. Right now I'm having deja vu. When the first one came out everybody was like wooooaw awesome movie and stuff. But later, opinions changed and people saw the movie for what it really was. A bunch of explosions strung together by shitty dialogue. And this will happen to this one 2. Replay value will be almost non existant and therefor forgetable. Don't want to see it, but due to peer pressure LOL I'll prolly will. I'll remember to have my trusty earplugs with me.

i liked the 2nd, but wouldn't mind seeing someone else take over. it should be a little corny (like the old tv series), but he overdid some parts, such as the twins and too many middle school sex jokes.
haven't seen this and won't, but based on the michael bay movies i have seen i wonder if he's a complete idiot or just has complete contempt for his audience and assumes they're all brainless.
megan fox is hot but seems oddly artificial to me, like she's some synthetic sex-droid (and i've already seen the commercial where she's supposed to be cg so don't bother posting it)...she's too perfect in appearance and seems soulless and empty...but this may be just me.

Megan Fox had my mouth watering the whole night.
I watched it on imax last night and I can say that I enjoyed it.
It was funny. The sound quality was AMAZING!!! And The graphics were out of this world.
Possitives: Just mentioned the graphics, and sound.

Negatives: Not enough shine for the autobots, and some of them were kinda corny in a way, and were type weak. Never really saw any of them getting busy. Bumble Bee did not get enough action either.
They tried to balance out the bots, from the human characters, but it felt like it was more about their relationship.
Barely any Optimus Prime action, its understandable though, but he is the man!
Overall it was cool to watch.

Michael Bay agreed to it but assumed they meant 2012 at least and said there is no way he would do one by 2011 as he wanted a break from Transformers.

Bad Boys 1 was cool, the second movie was just garbage, The Rock was ok, Pearl Harbour was utter shit, Armageddon was cool and The Island isn't all that bad. The thing that really turns me off Michael Bay movies is the fact that they drag alot. I don't think there's anyone who thought the Bad Boys movies should've been shorter.
