That's what he's saying there. I balance the verse you've quoted with everything else he's said. Jesus constantly attributes both his power, his words, his message to the One who sent him. He never takes credit for himself. You can keep repeating your Godhead theories but your inferences are contradicted by his own words.

"There is none good but He." Him refusing to take credit for who he is proves what I'm saying. Jesus knows the credit belongs to God and not himself. People misinterpret the message. When Jesus talks above no one gets through the Father but through him and such, people say that its a belief in Jesus that he's referring to. I don't see it that way. I understand him to mean that having love in your heart , the love that he brought to the world is what he's referring to.

Remember that it was Jesus himself that said if you forget all else to love and respect God and treat others as you want to be treated.

Love for God and for people was what he treasured most.

I'm aware of the concept I just don't buy it. Jesus's word don't point to a trinity as I have shown you with scriptures out of his own mouth. It is an invention of the church and not of God nor Jesus. Being a part of God does not make one God.

firstly the authors of the gospels usually state when JESUS was about to tell a parable but you have to look at the conext in which JESUS was saying it he was being serious also JESUS would speak plainly to his disciples but parables to the masses thats how he did it ....


Mark 4:9-12 - When he was alone,the twelve and the others around him asked Him about the parables. He told them, “the secrete of the Kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that, they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!”



Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?


JESUS`s tone in that exchange was serious you can tell from the way he is speaking it just common sense.

And look where you said Jesus was the word of God, no. Those aren't Jesus's words those are God's words, Jesus just spoke 'em. Now I'm not trying to say that being God's vessel isn't an important job, it is, but time and time again your justification for a trinity really just confirms that there is no trinity and only One God. People pray to Jesus when they should be praying to the One that sent Him.

You also said that Jesus would be nothing without God. God would still be God without Jesus (afterall it's His message in the first place) so there you go. The trinity is a man-made concoction. And I don't know how you saying I'm not following the words of the Bible when I'm only referring to the words straight out of Jesus's mouth, the ones that constantly refer and give all credit to God and he takes none for himself. He constantly spoke in parables and in metaphorical tones yet you yourself pick and choose when to decide when his words have deeper meaning and when they don't. Being that he's God's vessel I consistently take his words to have deeper meaning and so to reveal the truth of his words.

So yes you're right he wasn't really calling Peter satan. But at the same time you're wrong about the trinity. It's a mistake I'm sure that Jesus would rather you not make.

You keep turning to verses that did not come out of Jesus's mouth and I keep on going back ONLY to what came out of Jesus's mouth and yet somehow you feel like the verses you're quoting somehow carry more weight even though it's Jesus that serves as the whole basis of Christianity.

You leave a lot of my direct questions unanswered and choose rather to try and pick apart statements that I make by repeating yourself almost verbatim all the while not bringing anything new to the table. I understand what your concept of the Trinity is and how you think it works. Please confirm you understand that I understand that. You keep on explaining it to me like I'm confused. I'm not confused, I just think the concept is one that DID NOT originate with Jesus. PERIOD.

......or so you believe :lmao: I feel the say way about way I'm saying. If I'm reading and interpreting the New Testament I'm putting more weight into what Jesus is saying before anything else. His words can't be contradicted by a regular human but a regular human's can prove to be contradiction when compared to what he's saying. I'll just leave it at that.

It's even funnier that you say there can be no misinterpretation as it seems you have done just that. the preceding verse shortly before the one you quoted

John 17:3 And this life is eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ,whom thou hast sent

^one life is eternal, eternity goes both way stretching out before earth ever was and long after earth is gone. If Jesus has eternal life then its no stretch to say he was here before earth was created. Second the words are spoke by him the "ONLY TRUE GOD"...............AND......Jesus Christ. There's seperation between the two right there and it was the One True God that sent him.


step that reading comprehension up Zooruka. :list: You take things out of context (you paid no attention to what HE JUST SAID only two verses before the one you quoted) and then read into things what you want to read instead of what's actually being said. Jesus being eternal does not make him God, it just make him eternal. Jesus constantly seperates himself from God, letting you know that their is One True God and that God is not him.

I must say, Zooroka has a lot of time to defend his mind. I respect that, but I wish he learned as opposed to feel like he has to defend all the time.

I read a lot of things in here over the last few years that I did not always see eye-to-eye with, but I respected the inherent probability of truth in anything, given that we negate a lot of things based on our own bias. He, Zooroka, would benefit himself by understanding the other facet of probability shown to him and meditate on it rather than throwing verses of the Bible around that he truly cannot 100% grasp.

It's like shooting bullets into the sky trying to kill air.
Without understanding what you are shooting at, you remain a mockery for people to see.
