I'm reading a book right now called Enough and it's about the ignorant black youth, black politicians and the speeches that Bill Cosby has been giving to the black community at public forums. I read some staggering statistics regarding blacks. Blacks only make up 13% of the population but there's 44% of black men locked up in prison and there's 50% blacks that are dropping outta high school. That's just ridiculous. When are blacks gonna wake up and stop the madness? You can't make it in this fucked up cruel world without education. When are ignorant blacks gonna realize that? Stop thinking that the only careers you can become successful in is playing sports, rapping, drug dealing. I think that rap music is destroying the black youth because they listen to these ignorant rappers and they think that it's cool to live that way. Another shocking statistic i read is that white people buy rap music cd's and go to rap concerts more than blacks. White people are the main ones dissing rap talking about it's terrible music but they're buying the music and going to the concerts.

There is A LOT more to those statistics than black people being ignorant. They do not conclude that black people are ignorant.

Agreed. But I would say my high school is the typical suburban high school. Not rich kids, but typical middle class america. Even there the majority of black kids in my school were the ones causing trouble, being loud, mouthing off to teachers, getting in fights ect. White kids did it to dont get me wrong, but the proportions of each of the two doing it were way out of wack.

And that was a good school in the burbs, i doubt the city schools are close to being any better.
