mount taishan steps. this is a pilgramage every chinese person wishes to take. supposedly Mao wrote the natl. anthem while watching the sunrise at the peak. so folks from all ages toddler to elderly make the 6-8hr trek of endless steps to the top to watch the sunrise. we took a bus to the 1/2 way point and it still took us 3 hrs to get to the top. there were 1000s of people at the peak. this was on the way down.

this is my neighborhood those are military soldiers that patrolled it. the community were all expatriots from all over. but the chinese distrust foriegners so we were constantly watched, phones and possibly homes bugged and mail might be opened. so if yo want privacy go to public place to talk. nice homes tho. AT&T paid our mortgagage which was over 1mill.

this is our grass getting cut.......by hand. evryone gets a job in china. it may be a meaningless extremely low pay (avg income 800US/yr) but you have a job. they have midaged women with huge brooms to sweep the on and off ramps of the highway in thr morning.

dinner with LuoQi and friends she's the one with red hair. she hates taking pics. that meal plus the case costs about $5-6 US. the chinese youth were cool as hell and really interested in me and hiphop culture, even tho they didn't look it.

some kids at a restaurant that were amazed at seeing blacks. thats my boy Knox, the kids dad sent them over to our table and offerd us drinks. it's a form of respect. you fill rice bowls up with beer yell "ganbei!" and down it like a shot . we drank like 4 bowls with these kids. (no drinking age, sometimes alch is used as a sedative for kids.) the father kept sending them over to us
