Naw I think the Browns are capable of making moves. They'll be back to what they were in the 80's I really think so. Dunno how soon that will happen. Were they on Cower's list though? From what I understand, he himself listed three teams. Of course that could change but if it's coming from the horse's mouth..

yea i agree. i think hes done a good with what the fins have. it really is hard to consistently win in the nfl without a good qb. henne shows a lot of promise at times, but then he will look like a joker on the next drive. i think hell get another chance next year but they need to be prepared to look else where i feel. maybe take a stab at a mid/late round qb. and idk if its been the o-line or just ronnies injuries finally take a toll and rickys age, but the running attack has been poor. possibly its just the o-coordinator. either way they need to fix some shit on offense.Quote:

Ricky is getting old but he can still ball. Sometimes I think the Fins actrually get away from the run. Why make Henne throw that many times? I actually see something in Henne and all the Fins fans down here dog him so bad. It reminds me of Eli and how all of NY dogged him so long, some still do. Ronnie is a prize. And that FB ya'll got ain't bad either. Fins definitely got a good running game if they focus on it.
The line needs to get patched up a bit and give Henne a few more seconds back there so he can really start targetting Marshall. Marshall was literally invisible this year but I think the Fins are only gonna get better n better so next year he should put up BIG numbers.
The big problem right now is QB. And ya'll owners are dooches too. Clubs in the stadium? Fergie, Mark Anthony, Enrique as part time owners and shit? Cmoooon man.
The Browns had a great draft this year, have a great O-Line and Hillis is a beast. Hardesty was looking great, but got hurt, but he is like a quicker Hillis. That one/two next year will be tough to stop.
We need some recievers badly. McCoy has been pretty good so far as a rookie, we'll see what he can do.
T.J. Ward is a big hitter and Joe Haden has been playing great, he will be in the Pro Bowl in the future.
They need some more pieces but getting Cowher would only inhance them. Mangini isn't bad, but i'd take Cowher over him anyday.
Holmgren and Heckert in the front office....they're gonna bring in the right pieces

2 years ago, cowher said he would not go to the browns out of respect for dan rooney. although, with enough money, anything could happen. but cowher is a hero in pittsburgh. i don't think he would want to lose that status. if he went to the browns, he'd be hated more than lebron james is.
