Couldnt do this in a museum. Whats the point in listening to something if you gotta be stiff as a board when you listen?


Overall this idea is full of contradictions. You dont make the most hardcore, raw, rugged album, then only release it in Beverly Hills.....That defeats the purpose. I really REALLY wish ODB would be taken into consideration when making decisions like this. He died for the music, & theres a reason why when he came outa jail he said the only one still reppin the wu was masta killa, everybody else had sold out to certain extents. Before any wu tang related decisions are made, a question of "Would ODB agree with this?" should be asked before anything. ODB would NOT be down with this high class shit. Im pretty sure ODB would be highly against any museums, they prolly wouldnt even let dirt mcgirt in there in the first place dude is so raw & real.

Also it saddens me that Wu-tang was teaching kids instead of going to summer school, before the youth could get gems from the albums, & now in a time of huge ignorance & our people killing each other more than ever (chicago ect) they cannot receive any enlightenment from the clan. Taking knowledge & being selective with it instead of helping your fellow man is on some 10 percenter shit for reals. Sad to see its come down to this

agreed that way the fans hear what the wu actually heard and recorded. its just fucking odd to me that they don't even get to hear it. sure they get money (maybe if its split evenly and divided among everybody) but just seems weird not to hear work you helped create and just let go for money. = C.R.E.A.M.!!!

Im saying the HIPHOP belongs to the people and should be kept that way not at some exibit to be looked at or listened to...Its a live and breathing artform that can be created anywhere on the spot...and to be honest wutang is the best hiphop group but they aint touching greats like john coltrane,miles davis,jaco pastorius,stravinsky.....

An individual artist's work does not "belong to the people". There is something called a free market(which although is getting less and less free still exists somewhat).

So the technology changed and music basically became free as the market dictated. Good for the people(and for Cilva and artists complaining, the labels stole much more than the fans do but artists dont complain about that bc it's easier to cry about the fans).

So artists have a choice. Sometimes music is now released with the intention to be free, sometimes it's released making no money and sometimes some artists still make alot. Now artists are even bypassing labels more and more which is good for them. But the artist is FREE to try and release his music anyway he wants. The fans are also FREE to support the idea or to not an let it fall on it's face.

At this point, who are the artists? The ones who actually wrote their verses or the person who pieced them together? So who are you really supporting or boycotting? The people on the record-had no say and believed it was a Cilvaringz album, and may not have appeared having known the end result-that it was just another money making scheme for Rza cutting everyone else out of the real money to made on royalties etc, and the final asking price.

How did the input of Cher come into effect? Did you approach her directly? Recommended to you? Both happened to be in the same studio at the same time and she dropped a couple of vocals? Why not a classic Wu Bird like Tekitha and Blu Raspberry, or even an old skool girl like Aretha? What made you include a non-Wu artist on this album Bro?
