Yeah Brazil are just not as good as billed. They haven't been for a while, they could still win because they are the home team. That could push them. I mean they don't have strikers, Fred and Jo? To think Brazil don't have an above average striker. This must be like the first time ever.

Felt really bad for Chile, they worked so hard you could tell that even when they were taking their penalties. Couldn't even walk up to the penalty spot.

Colombia were very good again, complete team performance and what a goal. Both of them, the first being just class and the second being great build up play. Uruguay just had nothing that game. Been a good run by this Uruguayan team, world cup semi finals, Copa America champions. One tournament too far for this squad.

I think Colombia could beat Brazil, it won't be an upset at all. Brazil are only favourites because they the home team. In the Chile game Fernandihno and Neymar should have been yellow carded for persistent fouls. Both were let off the hook.

chile is good. colombia hasn't beaten a good team in the world cup. they suck. beating brazil would be an upset.

I've never known Brazil to not have a quality striker until now. From the likes of Careca, Romario, Ronaldo, Adriano, Bebeto and even Luis Fabiano in 2010 are much better than Jo, Fred and Hulk.

The irony is that Diego Costa dogged Brazil for Spain but Spain get bounced in the group stage when his style of getting in behind the defence doesn't suit Spain's possession based game and Brazil desperately lack a quality 9. If he was playing for Brazil like he should be (and he suits their style great) they would deserved favourites for quality.

How do Colombia suck? They came second in qualifying 2 points behind Argentina and are doing all this at world cup scoring goals for fun when everybody said they were nothing without Falcao.

Brazil have hardly had the hardest road to meeting Colombia either and really have struggled at times. Neymar is seriously carrying this team. Colombia have nothing to fear and have no pressure to perform, that's usually a dangerous opponent.

Yeah Colombia really have nothing to lose. To think this is the furthest they have ever been, kinda shocking with the great teams they had back in the 90's.

Holland should overcome Mexico today, it will be a tight game though. I won't be surprised if the Mexicans park the bus and hit the Dutch on the counter and sit on a goal lead.

I see Greece beating Costa Rica, i don't think it will be the boring game everyone expects it to be. Fuck it I will be rooting for Greece, the good old neighbours lol. The poor bastards need a little bit of positive stuff.

2 great goals as well, as i said Sneijder although mostly useless throughout the game still has the class to do something special.

Really bad for Mexico, they simply dropped off too much after they scored. You can't invite that much pressure, they didn't even counter when they got the ball. It was one way traffic after the Mexico goal.

I blame the Mexican coach, pulling that striker off the field a bare two minutes after his team has scored. And then parking the bus. Had they played on with the same tactics, I think it would have been a different story.

Its exciting yes but when your teams taking part, penalties are fucking unbearable to watch. Plus the Germans would always win.

Costa Rica just battled their way to victory. Well done to them well deserved.
