If Cilvaringz is being genuine, then surely he wouldn't mind explaining the dissonance I see here. It really hasn't been answered, it has just been side-stepped. The only logical reasons I can see them pulling this stunt is:
1. Money
2. To further cement the group's legacy in music history
3. Press
4. To try and re-energize the group
None of those seem worth pissing off your most loyal fans.
Cilvaringz said that when the announcement was made, a lot of us would be pissed off, but then he also said to have patience because he would never turn his back on fans. Seems like a lot of bullshit right now.
Cilvaringz also spoke about an idea to let 4th Disciple fully produce the album if I remember correctly? So how about we allow Cilva to keep this ONE copy of the album, beautifully crafted as a piece of Art and enjoyed by only a few and then ultimately by ONE single buyer of the album.............and then give the lyrics to 4th Disciple and allow him to produce an album using the lyrics in whatever order he wishes to whatever beats he wanted. So the fans get a 100% produced 4th Disciple Wu album, something I'm sure the die-hard fans like me have always wished for, and Cilva gets his $5million for the album that may never be heard. Would that appease the fans if Cilva allowed that to happen?Quote:

actually, Cilvaringz, what do you plan on doing after you sell this album? make another one? You could really build a legacy as a great producer if you produce other people's work like Killah Priest or shabazz or Wu generals
