Is there any chance of Cilvaringz or somebody fixing/revamping the site?
I started watching the 2nd season of the Cosmos remake. I skipped the first season because its basically the same stuff as the original series but this season seems pretty interesting.
Cilvaringz knows what the price is for a vbulletin upgrade
Just watched 'The Beast' a pretty intense South Korean cop flick (2019)
Birdgirl. A so called follow up to Birdman attorney at law on Adult Swim. Not feeling it, the original series is a quality watch though.
Candyman - My first time properly watching this. Its a pretty smart movie, there's a lot of interesting subtext there that most Horror films don't bother with and the villain is highly creepy.
Putting it on my list, thanks. I only ever saw the beginning on the telly. Some streaming platform is bound to have it
Also, play this at max volume when the neighbours get on your nerves
Nope, Tommy Whispers this is not.
TMF were in direct violation of the universal declaration of human rights for playing this clip 12 times a day.
'I'M HEEEEERE!'
There is a remake or sequel of Candyman coming soon. Screenplay by Jordan Peele.
I've watched The Master a few times on Netflix. Great film!
The first season is the one in the snow. The second season, which I didn't watch, involves Asian I think. Completely new story with new actors but still with the monster theme
Watching Kajillionaire. Weird shit. I like it.
Mare Of Easttown - Kate Winslet HBO drama. Decent detective thriller so far.
I'm gonna watch it too soon, she's a great actress.
Atm I'm focusing on German content, with the short comedy episodes of 'The glory is gone' / 'Der Lack ist ab' on Prime. I want to watch a few eps at work with the kids after summer and discuss some of the topics with them afterwards so I can get them to talk. It's a show about two 40 year olds and tgeir teenage kids. Each ep lasts for about 12 minutes, which is ideal for work purposes
I'm watching the Belgian and German games in the Euro championship too. Germany's playing well today.
That sounds good.
Anyone watch Hunters or Invincible on Amazon Prime? Was considering watching both. Wanted to know if it was worth my time.
Dorehodero, good anime about a guy whose head was magically turned into a lizard's and has a full sized human living at the back of his throat
Yup.

Holly Slept Over
Sexy movie
I think this might work as a nice movie to watch as a couple (IDK I'm single) to spice it up a bit
Funny movie too
Gundam Mobile Suit. The 3 original compilation movies from 1979-1981.
Yasuke. Anime about a black samurai (based on a historical figure) who lived in feudal Japan. New on Netflix (down here at least) IIRC the sjws and Robs of this world were arguing over this in their internet bubble a few months ago.
30th anniversary of the release of Boyz n da hood and T2 Judgement Day. Classic films, probably watch both this weekend, make it a annual Independence Day tradition.
^^classics 4 sure
you gotta love the internet sometimes. with social media bullshit, echo chambers and what have you, I was 1997 type internet charmed when I came across this site today :
https://www.impdb.org/index.php?title=D.A.R.Y.L.
I was watching the 1985 family scifi movie D.A.R.Y.L. for the first time and wondered what the plane was that was used at the end of the movie
turns out there's a community that tries to identify every aircraft in every (major) movie : the internet movie plane database
awesome
the plane was a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird btw. iconic plane (?) but IDK anything about planes
The pilot to 'Clarice' was good, it did well in terms of connecting to 'Silence of the lambs' imo. I think I'll watch the whole season.
The Kid Detective. Nice premise.
EDIT jfc this one is pretty damn good. Definitely stick with it even if you find the pace easy going and/or the topic childish. there's various instances of emotional pay off down the road. Great choices in music too.
Started watching 'The Good Place'. Solid comedy series with an interesting premise.
Good watch! good build of tension through montage trickery, midlong camera viewpoints that create the 'outsider point of view' (like in some horrors) and slow slow trickle of infor about the protagonists. just don't expect too big of a finale
Sherlock. Watching all eps (7 seasons) this summer.
Miracle workers. Comedy television series starring Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi. Caught a few episodes, interesting premise.
Kevin can fuck himself
Hard to explain this one. So it switches from traditional studio audience sitcom to more modern tv based drams based on the scene. It airs in AMC, stars Annie Murphy. Gets pretty dark at sometime but in a good way.
Boyz N The Hood. Great watch of course. It had been many years. the dementia praecox was kicking in majorly as I swear 15 minutes into the movie I was saying to myself 'how come they haven't introduced O Dog yet?' I wish I were trolling lol. sounds like I need to watch 'Menace II Society' again soonish too
