Agreed, but it's RZA who's leading the charge to bring them back, who invested his time/money, who's always at press, etc. etc. There's no way this would've happened w/o him. Rae/Ghost are probably content as soloists because there's less splits financially, not to mention the differences of where they are musically from RZA, but you MUST salute RZA for making this happen, who the fuck knows if/when we'll get another one. And the album is proper but it's wack how it's release is always surrounded in drama, w/ not everyone being on the same page and what not. That's what makes this joyous and unfortunate at the same time.

As far as GZA, he's back on his narcolepsy shit it seems. Mef, Deck and MK killed it, Rae came correct, too (as he always does). Overall it doesn't seem completely cohesive, and it ain't perfect, but decent considering all the effort it took.

Great interview by RZA there. What really pisses me off is that Rae and Ghost act like ABT don't exist. On their Twitter pages, you can't find nothing about it! There are a lot of reminders for "36 Reasons", but nothing on the Clan's record.. That's fucked up.
Feels like the tension of "8 Diagrams" all over again..

Listened to it for the 1st time. This needs to go through speakers, fuck the earbuds.

Keep Watch is the weakest song definately. Preacher's daughter is a nice song. Way better than peadophile-track 'Starter'.

Preacher's Daughter is my shit lol that turned out dope, would've liked to have heard ODB on there lol. And Ringz was definitely on point about Miracle. Pioneer The Frontier is sick as expected.

All that said, if anyone should complain, it should be Gza. Where is he at in this album. It seems like he was only in like four songs. And that's how it is for every album. Whenever shit goes down, Gza is always one of the people Rza names as being there from the start. But then when the album comes out, he's always one of the least featured. Why is that?

He is a musical genius and a business genius. He gave everything his had for the clan. Do U know another motherfucker who can do what he did in the golden era ? It seems Robert made a lot of sacrifices for this project I respect that. He wants the clan to survive and tries to maintain the legacy. Some motherfuckers like Rae use the wu name but they don't give a fuck ! They don't care about the legacy.

Masta Killa seems to be the only who understands that most of the Clan members wouldn't have achieved so much if RZA hadn't helped 'em. But most of the Generals respect RZA expect for Rae and Ghost

In fairness Rae has pointed out multiple times that RZA took him off the street and put him in the booth. He knows that and hasn't forgot that. That said, he shouldn't expect huge profits from a group album (especially with that many members) in today's music market. Rae has made some real bitch moves since the lead up to the release of 8 Diagrams. RZA spent all those hours working on this album while the rest of the clan dropped by and recorded verses at best. Then, RZA has to pay Rae out of his own pocket to get him on the album? Bullshit. It shows how dedicated RZA is to the Wu and it's fans, and clearly points out Raekwons lack thereof. If the whole clan was as concerned as Rae about how much money they would make making a new album there's literally no way this album happens. Rae played his role very well on the album, but I would imagine even RZA may rather stop making clan albums than deal with Rae on the business side of things again.
