Why do civil rights groups keep sticking up for Michael Vick?

True story. He started to question himself how could have he lost his own drugs. Well, he had to point the finger at somebody, so he pointed the finger at some other drug dealers. So, the all the drug dealers started arguing over $100 worth of drugs for about 40 minutes to an hour. I went to another store to get some food because I knew a gun battle would break out soon. About half way home, I heard several gunshots. When I got home, there were about 10 swat cars sorounding off the liqiuor store. Now, someone called the police WHEN the drug dealers were arguing, but the police never arrived. Almost an hour of arguing and no police. Unforateuly, the drug dealers got away....somehow. The next day, someone else was selling drugs in that liqiuor store. Who's to blame for this? The police or the city?

Personally, dog fighting is a form of savagery compared to someone selling drugs to a crackhead or a random person on the street. The person that's buying the drugs made a choice to purchase the drugs in order to get a high or "buzz". The drug dealer is doing his/her job by supplying the drugs to inividuals that want drugs. After all, the person that chooses to be a drug dealer made their choice to be a loser in life. Blackwisdom, God created humans and he gave us to power to make important choices in life, whether they are right or wrong. But we learn from our mistakes. However, some of us do learn and there are those that don't learn at all.

If people want to stop the flow of drugs in their commiuties, they have to stand up and fight for want should be theirs. Complaining and bitchy isn't going to solve anything. If a person wants to overcome the pressures of the ghetto, that person must be strong minded enough to rise above than want is being offer to him/her from the ghetto.

I read some of the studies that were done in regards to how the structure of the ghetto will affect it's residents. The earliest ghettos that I've encountered in my studies were in Europe. They were structured exactly the same except at night time their doors (big gates) were closed. It's a lot more but I don't want to go too far off subject.

Some one shot a bullet through a relative of mines window in the projects. The cops told her, "Get use to it."

The issue in impoverished neighborhoods is multi-layered and must be studied as such. You sometimes need to peel the layers of the onion off one by one to get to the middle, but still remember that all of these layers make an onion. You can't have it without all of it's layers piled one ontop another.

The ghetto and other impoverished neighborhoods pull on one's will to elevate. We can rise above but those experiments will succeed in taking out a certain number of casualties unless they're destroyed and rebuilt in a more humane manner. We all know what that'll take and what that entails. I don't have the energy today to go indebt.

Michael Vick should be cut from the NFL and locked up for what he did. He f***** up.....and it's his own damn fault for being a dickhead.

I'm not surpised. The police only care about class. Think about it. Compare the inner city police to the suburb police. Which police has better equiment, better officers, betters staff, and most imporant, better response time? The answer is the suburbs. Higher class. Less minorities.

One of my classmates was walking home from the library at night after studying. Almost half way home, someone robbed him from behind. He called the police, obviously. He waited five freaking hours inside his apartment for them to arrive. When the police showed up, they had the nerve to make him feel like he was the bad guy because he was walking from school at night. My classmate told me that the officers were mean to him, they were five hours late, and he didn't give a detailed descrition of the robber because he knew that he wasn't going to be caught. So, why bother? 24 hours later, the station called him and told him that he told to go downtown detroit to give a descrition of the robber. WTF? Here's my question? Why didn't the officers just ask him for a descrition of the robber?

It's really bad here in Detroit because we have police that don't even do their jobs properly. But out in the good suburbs, the police are at their best. It's all about class.

I think that it's true that high class communities may receive better treatment, but it's still all about the bottom line.

Money makes people do things in the US and abroad.

The suburbs have houses. The residents pay property tax. This property tax goes to the services in the community. These services are the police department, school system, cleaning crews, fire department, etc. They have the money for better services and equipment. Now the city or state can suppliment the inner cities due to their lower property taxes. Like I said there are multi-layers to deal with. It's not just white and black and upper class and lower class. These are the things that are right before our eyes to see. There are underlined currents that trully effect us. Unless we understand them we will always be confused.

It is said that if you don't understand white supremacy everything else will be confusing to you. I say that it goes much deeper than that. Power structures control this world. They always have and always will. It's the will of the power structure that needs to be addressed. Now it's not as simple as that either. If we were to truly study the constitution, Americans will know their rights and act upon them. People need to stop feeling so powerless all the time.

One more thing, some what unrelated. Every politicial and public official is a lier.

America is a Republic. So whenever someone comes at you talking about Democracy they are not to be trusted. Read the Constitution or recite the pledge of allegiance if you think I'm lying.

um a republic is a democracy, one in which elected officials make the laws (in a pure democracy the people themselves make the laws). that said, yes the government hates us, all of us, not just the black ones.

He said that because the stereotype is most of the American people don't like blacks. This all has to do with stereotypes and image of black people. Know you the average looking balck man: Thug, 5x white t-shirt, tims or air ones, sagging pants, speaking ebonics, braids, dumb, ghetto, etc. The average black women: ghetto, wierd freaking name, attitude, crazy fake hair, depressed, etc. American people use steretypes like these to create an image for a certain race. I don't understand why you posted that. All Dave Chappelle did was perpetuate the stereotypes of African Americans that black people are stupid, and white people are smart, great and weak. Go beyond the 1500s for what. Slavery?

I posted the clip from my man Dave cause it displayed some stereotypes. I said that it goes back past the 1500s cause stereotypes go past that timeframe. You can go to the Dravidians, etc. There has been all types of cast and class systems. Just adding on.
