Buckshot talking about the morning Sean Price died.
https://youtu.be/KasbzPUux4w
I've been pondering a few things this morning regarding Sean Price's posthumous projects and if certain projects may ever happen.
1) Did Sean leave behind enough verses for a final Heltah Skeltah album?
Would Rock even want to do something like that?
2) Is "The Pill" even a real thing?
Looking on Sean's Wikipedia page in the past, there was mention of a tentative collaborative album with ILL BILL called "The Pill". Was that ever really going to happen, or was that just someone fucking around on Wikipedia?
Does anyone have links to social media accounts for the label or Dru Ha or someone who can answer any of this for me?
Pretty sure there was enough material recorded to build the new Heltah Skeltah LP.
Also the Pill was real. but I don't believe they got arround to recording anything for it.
There is also Imperious Rex being released soon. An LP with full production by Fame of MOP. and a full LP with Illa Ghee that is completed that should be out before the end of the year.
From what I read from Bernadette there is tons of material that Ruck just recorded at Goblin.
Also I read that there was a bit of an arguement between Duck Down and PF Cuttin. So not sure if that will lead to any material being put away. I know Ruck recorded alot of shit with PF.
Other than that like dude said, Just tweet Bernadette @SeanPrice.
She pretty much always replies if she can.
Sean Price, Allah's best rapper
Songs In The Key Of Price dropped one year ago today, what are your thoughts on it? Does anybody have the discontinued version with the Stevie Wonder inspired artwork?
Whut it do nigguh I fucks with wu-tang and a couple of new nigguz -P!
Got it, too! I couldn't find how much money people are willing to pay for it nowadays. I was completely hooked on Sean shortly before his death - which fucking shocked me - and had Songs In The Key Of Price preordered. The album is just a raw street mixtape and a classic to me, independently from his passing.
Sean P recorded with KGR before passing. He's gonna be on Return of a Don
"All I is is all I am and...all you is-who gives a dam its like bup-dubala bup do wop bam boom the glock, got a few shots, u popped-drop-ooo"
New song. Not sure if it's from Imperius Rex, or if they'll release a mix tape before it like they usually do. :spin::spin::spin:
The Duck Down Youtube account says 'Imperius Rex coming soon...' Nice to know. I thought it was still not clear if that's going to drop.
I got Heltah Skeltah's Magnum Force album cover on my Facebook page. I love Sean's Boom Bye Yeah song and video. I got Sean's rapping partner Rockness Monstah mixtape saved in my folder on Youtube. I haven't heard it yet. I like Rockness tribute video about Sean called Da Streets Want Blood. I got the video saved in my folder on Youtube. I heard that Sean was considering quitting rap because he was mad about Magnum Force album didn't sell a lot of copies. Has anybody else heard that? I read about that on cable tv rap music channel that played Heltah Skeltah and OGC's classic collabo song yesterday that they did a video for. I forgot the name of the song.
