I heard the Tom Scott version long before the original Jefferson Airplane one and I find it jarring to go back and listen to Tom Scott's because it sounds like JA's has been sped up and had a sax solo thrown in there, it's a great cover and great sax solo but I love the vibe of the original

it's a shame acts like these have to resort to playing very small venues when touring abroad these days. they definitely deserve more recognition. I might go and see them in the Netherlands in 2 weeks, I'll have to check with my bank account first lol. These guys are getting old though, it's a concert in the early afternoon (and they're not playing a festival either)
