Boise State is always overrated. For a while I like everyone who thinks that teams like TCU and BSU and Fresno State can compete with the big boys, but than I saw the light. As soon as any decent team steps up to them, they get put in there place. Sure yeah teams like BSU and TCU have won bowl games, but just look at the whole bowl system, if the Non-BCS team plays a BCS team in a bowl is usually like the #5 Big10 team against the #1 MWC team, so it's rarely a top team in a BCS conference against a top team in a non-BCS conference. It's not entirely the small schools fauly, Fresno State's and Boise State's have a hell of a time schedleing because the Flordia's and Ohio State's of the world view a matchup with them as lose-lose. But every once in a while the matchup we all want to see happens, this year Boise State tries to show the nation that they Belong at the Top when they take on OU. I haven't watched Boise State at all this year, but i predicted that they would be be undefeated because of there easy schedule, with Florida's or Ohio State's schedule they would have lat least 2 losses. But anyways to my point, as a HUGE Georgia Bulldogs fans I was kind of nervous with last years opener, Boise State. But the dawgs rolled on them and won by like 35 points. The dogs proved there imprefections in the Sugar Bowl as a team that is truely underrated, West Virginia, started the game off with a 28-0 run. Basically my point is teams like TCU, UTAH, Boise State, put them in the SEC or Big10 and they are a 2 or 3 loss team at best, put them in the ACC or BigEast and they still are a 2 loss team. If Oklahoma losses to Boise State next year, than by all means if Boise runs the table next year, let them play for the National Championship. Like George Mason showed in the March Madness tourney, a Cinderella can only dance so much.

How do you know that Boise State would have lost against big named teams? You don't know for sure. I doubt they would have gotten killed as bad as Notre Dame did, when they played anybody good. Boise State would beat Notre Dame. And they'll beat Oklahoma in the bowl game.

ND has always have had a top 5 toughest schedule year in and year out. This year and next, their schedule hasnt been as tough, but there isnt any other team in sports who has as many rivals as Notre Dame.
Michigan, Michigan St, USC, Purdue, Boston College and Navy all have ND's name circled when the schedules come out. All of those rivaries have been going on for decades. ND plays Navy each year because the Naval Academy helped keep that University alive when the war was going on, and has a sign of thanks, they play each year, and Army every two years and AirForce every 3 years.
ND doesnt schedule MAC teams like the Big Ten does
and they sure as fuck dont schedul Division II teams like the SEC does.
They will play a team from the 6 major conferences every year starting next year

Nobody else gave Boise St. a chance, and some people were saying that they were going to get killed. The proved tonight that they aren't overrated, and they can compete with the top teams. College Football should come up with some type of playoff system, cause Boise State deserves a chance at number one. The Sooners were losing the whole game till about 1 minute left in the fourth quarter. They got dominated, until late in the game. It was nice to see the frowns on the redneck faces.

I'm not sure if Notre Dame should have even been ranked this year. I get tired of people thinking they are good, even when they aren't. I guess they will try to continue their record of consecutive bowl game loses, next season. They could probably go a whole season without winning a game, and still be selected to be in a bowl game, just like Miami and Florida St. There are way too many bowl games anyway. This is our year and its our time. the stadium is going to be 75%-80% Buckeyes as well cause NO ONE travels like Buckeyes fans. Congrats to Florida for beating Ohio State. But like I said before, Boise State remained the only undefeated team. The proved they can hang with the powerhouse teams, and they deserve a shot at the National Championship. I believe they could beat Florida if they had a game between them. They really need to change the college football format, so teams don't get left behind.

Thats not a far-fetched prediction. WVU has alot of talent. USC is loaded again, and has an incumbent QB, so that always helps. All college teams have that crucial rivalry game that they must get thru, and USC's will be UCLA again.Quote:
