they never should have put a jew on the moon.
they never should have put a jew on the moon.
OBFCL 2 is gonna have zero impact on the game as a whole. Peeps will download it and then just forget it and add it to their increasing pile of mixtapes and albums (that they dont really listen to anyway). It aint 1995 no mo.
how is that an unpopular opinion LOL anyone with a brain coulda figured that outQuote:

-eminem is definetly not the greatest emcee, not even in the top 40.. canibus would eat his ass up
-onyx is better than m.o.p
-most of black milk's production sounds the same
lolololol at any hate towards DOOM, Dilla, Pac, Premo or Outkast. yall idiots seriously have awful fucking taste in hip hop. like, what? 2 of the top 5 producers ever are garbage right?
I think this about sums up this thread....
"Doom and his whole image sucks
Vanilla Ice's "To The Extreme" is a certified classic"
hahahahaha you people might actually be dumber than the average wanna be thug on thisis50.
and where the fuck did this idea that Lupe lacks charisma come from? he is probably the most charismatic rapper in the mainstream today, have any of you actually been to a Lupe show? he's going crazy from start to finish, and is even out there dancing to the opening acts. he's this generations Q-Tip when it comes to performing.
and to the people hating on Mos and Talib or the Roots, have you ever thought that maybe the music wasnt wack, that maybe....you're just stupid and can't handle intelligent music? like someone with the ridiculous lyrical prowess that both mos and talib have, how could you possibly listen to BlackStar or Black on Both Sides, and say they suck? if that shit isn't for you and you prefer only super hardcore, gritty shit, do you, but to say they're flow is garbage is literally just ignorant.
not only does he lack charisma but he's been in tha game for a minute now and i still dont kno nothin about him... he just doesnt have tha it factor that pulls u in..my opinion of courseQuote:

The South got a lot more good music than it gets credit for and probably got more SOUL ingrained into its sound that any other region of the country.
case in point
Biggie wasn't overrated, his flow was, but as an MC he ain't overrated....
Big Pun always murdered a track, always had the best verse, and he never got outshined on a track....
And he rapped on tracks with Raekwon , INS , Black Thought , Sticky Fingaz , Nas etc.
Tech N9ne is ill indeed
And yeah Psychopatic Records should be taken seriously.... Detroit Horrorcore and Acid Rap ain't nuthin' to mess with....
I don't like all that Italian praise wannabe maffia bullshit....
I mean, nigga please, the Italian maffia and mobs prolly don't even like you and you gon praise them by mentioning them in your tracks ,actin' like them and call yourself after them?
The only rappers who did the maffioso rap in a good way whilst still respecting their roots are Kool G Rap, Ghost and Rae they started the thing we call Maffioso Rap and they did it very well and it was something new and dope , all the others sound like they've watched too many italian maffia movies....
I get dissed most of the time on here because of my opinion about rappers and i don't care hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I agree with Killion Jensen that most people are scared to say their own opinion because they're scared of what people are gonna say about their opinions. Like i said before, ain't none of these rappers gonna give me some money and a place to stay when i'm unemployed so i don't give a shit if they don't like what i have to say about their albums. Rappers complain all the time about their albums not selling but they're the ones that aren't making good music anymore. When they start making good music again, then their records will sell. It's sad to say but the 90's was the last good decade for rap music.
Ghost and Rae didn't start it mane.
I disagree about the early 2000's. 1998 was the last good year for rap music.

No album was bitten quite like this one.
Ah c'mon CharlesJones I always respect your opinions but this time it's like Say What?!
I know you prolly don't like Eminem but like him or not, he's a dope MC and he dropped his first cd in '99....
And the following artists all dropped some heat after '98 :
Killarmy
GZA
Ghostface Killah
Chino XL
Sticky Fingaz
M.O.P.
Dr.Dre
Necro
Jedi Mind Tricks
Terror Squad
RZA as Bobby Digital (Digital bullet not Digi Snax)
D-12 (their debut is very dope)
etc.
There is a lot of names I can mention you should check their discography and what they dropped after '98....
I don't have time to listen to a lot of rappers like you do. Do you have a job? If you do, i hope it's a good paying one. Having a good job is more important to me than listening to a bunch of rappers who i'm helping to support financially when none of them are giving me money since i'm helping them to become rich. There might have been a few good albums that came out after 1998 but i wouldn't know because i'm not trying to listen to every rapper on the planet. Dr Dre's Chronic 2001, M.O.P.'s Warriorz album, Camron's S.D.E. album, Xzibit's Restless album, 50 Cent's Get Rich Or Die Tryin album and the soundtrack and Sticky Fingaz Black Trash albums are good. Ghostface Killah's Supreme Clientele has a few good songs and don't make me laugh about The RZA's Bobby Digital album hahahahahahahahahahahaha. My point is that most rappers haven't made consistently good albums since 1998. 1998 had a lot of good rap albums and that year was also sad for me because A Tribe Called Quest broke up and they were one of my favorite groups. Plus 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999 were sad years for rap because we lost Eazy E, 2Pac, Notorious Big, Freaky Tah of Lost Boys, Big L. QTip's faggot ass made some wack ass solo songs but i'll always be a fan of his since he was in that group.
this guy is hilariousQuote:

How come you don't have a job? How is it that you have time to listen to rap and post online about rappers but you're unemployed? See this is exactly the situation i'm talking about with poor ignorant black men. I bet the majority of black men on here are unemployed but ya'll got time to post about your favorite rappers.
^Nigga calm down.
canibus overated as fuck
I agree with this shit.
-Pun blew up
-DMX blew up with 2 albums
-Big L started his flamboyant imprint and started droppin crazy shit
-lauryn hill was nice
then 99 was just a turnoff. nas dropped 2 garbage albums, jay-z dropped his worst album with vol. 3, Big L was left, Pun started eating more. 98 was the last year full of classic albums.
92-98 will always be the best years in hiphop
I think hip-hip was great until '06
Iron Flag isn't a bad album.
i think underground rap is keepin hip hop alive
It Was Written is WAAAAAAAAAY better than Illmatic.
Illmatic's beats = dated, 9 full classic tracks
IWW = still sounds fresh, 13 full classic tracks
they called it a sophomore slump when he dropped it and trust me, Ive listened to illmatic a trillion times but IWW has filled my mind recently and Nas ante'd up his game.
IWW = Nas' best album, 2nd best album ever behind RD
IWW >>>>>>>> Illmatic
I too think IWW is as of high a quality as Illmatic, though probably not better. Not an unreasonable suggestion though.
Forever is of a much higher quality than 36 Chambers, as any realistic person will admit.
^not a chance.
36 is probably the best wu material ever. possible tie with cl and ironman, but very close.
