I really think that losing Thiago is a huge blow to Barca and unless they find another class central midfielder they'll be in trouble with the big teams. Sure having Messi, Suarez and Neymar will bail them out a lot but not as often without a presence to dictate the tempo. Barca loss is our gain, Thiago is amazing. I see City carved up Chelsea. I like Pellegrini he's a good manager. I was hoping City would sign Guardiola haha I hate him. Mourinho is going on about City didn't deserve a 3-0 win. From what I read it deserves to be like 6-0 haha Mourinho's deflection strategies are great but he's the master at it. He'll say something outrageous or controversial and then everyone forgets how bad his team just played. It's good to see Leicester start well because Ranieri has copped a hammering from the media before season start now I'm reading from the same people they're the new Southampton to make the top 6 lol poor Southampton they just kept on losing their players last few years I was really hoping they'd crack top 4 last year they're great to watch in a rather robotic league

Dortmund were losing 3-0 by the 30th minute in the Europa League then won 4-3. Great game. Dortmund are just so fragile sometimes to do the most unexpected shit.

What the hell is wrong with Holland? I haven't watched them in the other games but against Turkey they were awful. Turkey are shit, like proper shit we had only beaten Kazakhstan in the groups so far. Holland though were even worse, massive gaps at the back absolutely nothing going forward, mistakes from all the players. It was shocking.

The next wave of Dutch talent must be pretty weak and still relying on Robben, RVP and Sneijder. I guess you always just expect the Dutch to always be up there and there will be a lot of pressure for Memphis Depay to step up and be a new Robben. So the Dutch are out and Turkey can make a playoff?

Iceland qualified for their first tournament and Wales are all but qualified which is good to see these teams make it. I'd love to see Wales v England in the tournament imagine that for a knock out match.

The Dutch aint out yet but Turkey just need 4 points to guarantee 3rd place. Usually Holland qualify easily even in tough groups, they didn't lose a home game in like 15 years or something in the qualifiers but in this campaign its just not working. They got no strikers, Van Persie and Huntelaar in just in shit form and it don't look like they gonna get back.

The qualifiers should have been easier with the new format but a lot of good teams have flopped. Switzerland were a top 10 ranked team before the world cup, the best defensive team in Europe now they are just shit. Bosnia had a great run but they haven't gotten over their bad world cup. Greece are fucking bottom in their group they lost twice to the Faroe Islands, thats just crazy.

Then you got teams like Romania, Iceland, Wales going through. All been a bit weird.

Germany have to be outright favourites for the tournament next year.

Northern Ireland are top of their group and I can't believe that Albania are all but assured automatic progress. It's good to see these teams make it but I think expanded euros might be suffering next year with a few too many weak teams. It was going to be bad enough even with holland there.

Chelsea have just been crap. Everyone around them improved they didn't and they pay the price for it. Their play has been slow, they can't mount pressure in games and the defence they relied upon before has been making a lot of mistakes.

Liverpool have been shit to, poor start to the season yes won a couple games but were lucky. I just don't see this team going anywhere.

Chelsea is absolutely horrible right now. Don't know what the fuck happened to them.

I've been very patient with BR, but right now, the way I see it there's no other option then letting him go. He keeps playing formation that don't work and the team just looks lackluster. No attacking flair at all. On paper I think the team is quite good, but they need to get it together immediately.

I still think City (and Leicester, lol) has been the only good team so far this season.

Every time a player releases a new book, normally an autobiography, all sorts of revelations come creeping out of the woodwork.

The latest to cause a stir is Steven Gerrard’s second book, originally titled “My Story”, where the player reveals all about his feelings towards, amongst others, Benitez, Balotelli and El-Hadji Diouf.

The former Liverpool captain claimed Diouf had no real interest in football and cared nothing about Liverpool, finishing off by stating that while he had some respect for Balotelli, who could be ‘endearing’ at times, he had none for Diouf.

Diouf, known to be a controversial character, seemingly did not like what Steven Gerrard had to say about him and took to Radio Future Media in Senegal, relayed by Le10 Sport, to voice his opinion on the Liverpool legend.

He said: “We all saw how he made life difficult for Mario Balotelli at Liverpool. I warned him. Liverpool isn’t a team that accepts black people unless they are English.

“It’s common knowledge. Gerrard has never liked black people. When I was at Liverpool, I showed him I was black, that I wasn’t English, but that I'm no pushover. All the time I was there, he never dared looked me in the eye.”

While neither player play for Liverpool anymore, it's not a story Liverpool will be thrilled with - but then they did hire Diouf in the first place. Diouf has also gone on to say Gerrard is jealous of his career.(http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/t...im-and-will-be). No, really.

Steven Gerrard is basically a God figure in certain parts of England, one of the greatest players of all time.

He is certainly not a racist, the player accusing him of racism is a shit player who never did anything with his career. Even claiming Gerrard was jealous of his career shows how mentally unstable Diouf is.

The other player Ballotelli is a talented player who has wasted every opportunity given to him. This is a player who set his own house on fire.

Everything Gerrard says about the two players is pretty much spot on. If he gets heat in the States and accused of being a racist because of what a bum like Diouf said then thats just shameful.
