I never even fathomed this stuff was possible when I played soccer as a kid. Doesn't really translate well into a game I guess.

Against Man City the best Liverpool I seen since the Suarez years. It was just like watching Dortmund. I believe in Klopp, its a bit late this season but with some good signings and his play this Liverpool team can do it next season.
Barca absolutely toyed with Madrid, looks like Benitez will go.
In other news, Eto'o who is playing in Turkey at the moment has like 10 goals in 12 games. The mans on fire, he carrying the team he playing for and its a bad team. Still some life in the man.
^^ Agreed. Still, only 8 points of the top so I think it's a bit premature to dismiss anything just yet. Good to see Firmino having a good game.
Hopefully Villa can pick our season up, Tim Sherwood was a breath of fresh air when he came in after dreary boring Lambert and i loved his passion and energy but he picked bizarre teams and didnt have a clue at times. Hoping we can turn this around...
Barca just destroyed Roma. What a team to watch.
very proud of my home team Ghent. They beat Lyon 1-2 tonight. Right now Ghent are in second position in their group. In two weeks the final games is against Zenith. If things work out they can keep the second position and can go on to the 8th finals.
while other Belgian teams have played the Champions League before (notably Anderlecht), Ghent is the first team to score in all of its Champion League matches so far
my home team AA Ghent won the game against Zenith 2:1 and has reached 1/8 CL finals
everybody's going nuts here lol
Gent first Belgian side to make it into the knock out stages in the modern Champions league era. Kinda surprising but its good for football because Belgian sides are building through their youth academies instead of spending money.
Porto got 10 points and got knocked out of the champs league, while Roma qualified with 6, kinda ridiculous.
copa america >>>>> champion's league
Mourinho sacked from Chelsea. However much it brings me joy to see Chelsea fight to avoid relegation and Mourinho's failures I have to say that the team playing like shit isn't his fault. The Chelsea players have been awful this season and a lot of people are in the belief that they wanted to get rid of Jose and playing bad was the only way to do it.
I don't give two fucks about Chelsea but as a Inter fan I always gotta feel for Mourinho.
This was bound to happen. If a team can't work with a manager you know who's got to go.
I like both Chelsea and Mourinho but that's just how it is.
Let's see what Hiddink can do with the team.
might as well just make it a lifetime one since he'll be dead after that anyway...
Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini were each banned for eight years by FIFA's ethics committee on Monday in a stunning takedown of world football's most powerful leaders.

FIFA president Blatter and Platini, his onetime protégé, were kicked out of the sport for conflict of interest in a 2 million Swiss franc (£1.35 million) payment deal that is also the subject of a criminal investigation in Switzerland. The bans are effective immediately.
Blatter's FIFA career looks set to end in disgrace after more than 17 years as president and 40 years in total with the governing body.
Platini's bid to succeed his former mentor in the Feb. 26 election is now likely over, although he is expected to appeal at the FIFA appeals committee and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Blatter held a news conference shortly after the decision was announced in which he said he would appeal with FIFA, CAS and the Swiss authorities and described himself as a "punching ball."
Ethics judges ruled that Blatter broke FIFA Code of Ethics rules on conflicts of interest, breach of loyalty and offering or receiving gifts.
Both denied wrongdoing in 2011, when Platini took 2 million Swiss francs of FIFA money approved by Blatter as uncontracted salary for work as a presidential adviser from 1999 to 2002.
Blatter was also fined 50,000 Swiss francs ($50,250), and Platini, a FIFA vice president and head of European soccer's governing body, was fined 80,000 Swiss francs ($80,400).
"Neither in his written statement nor in his personal hearing was Mr. Blatter able to demonstrate another legal basis for this payment," the judges said. "By failing to place FIFA's interests first and abstain from doing anything which could be contrary to FIFA's interests, Mr. Blatter violated his fiduciary duty to FIFA.
"His [Blatter's] assertion of an oral agreement was determined as not convincing and was rejected by the chamber."
Platini, the judges said, "failed to act with complete credibility and integrity, showing unawareness of the importance of his duties and concomitant obligations and responsibilities."

I'm happy that Pep is gone but not so sure about Ancelotti. They should have kept Juup Heynckes until Thomas Tuchel is ready he would have done great with the squad. I'm a bit worried now that Pep will start tapping players up to follow him to Manchester. Thiago must stay but he can take Alonso, Robben, Rafinha or Ribéry can go. He doesn't like Lewandowski so he's safe.
I preferred the Bayern under Heynckes. Yes Bayern are absolutely dominating the Bundesliga and smashing all records but they would be doing the same with whoever in charge. I think for Champs league success Ancelotti is a good choice, he will make Bayern less vulnerable to teams like Barcelona and Real.
As for Pep its pretty much certain he will be going to Man City, they saying City have already offered him a 25million Euro a year deal and unlimited transfer funds.
