i can see lots of violence at these champs, as most of europe is in depression/poverty, sports are for the dumbed down folks to keep their attention on other things.. plus it also incites division and racism... the masses are pissed off.. but instead of fighting the power, they will fight others who are in the same situation. cos derp muslims.

It's pretty lame the fighting that goes on between the fans at soccer matches. It's not even safe to bring your kids to a game.

My dad was telling me the other day how English fans use to throw darts at games. Ridiculous.

On a different note, they should get rid of offsides in Soccer. To me, if an offensive player gets a jump on the defense or anticipates a play, it's a smart play. All these offside calls on corner kicks or when a defense moves up is such a drawback to watching.

They should also be red-flagging players that fake injuries and trips. The soccer organization should also be fining them.

The champ is here. Forget the qualifying and meaningless friendlies, Germany are a tournament team and should still win it all. Fun fact, Germany have won the Euro every time the tournament was expanded.

being indian, and born and raised in the uk. i wentto a lot of lower division games (walsall fc home games) didnt get much racism there, but when i went to watch everton games.. or just being around stadiums. the racism is there... can even notice it when their not being racist..

On the Euros so far no real surprises, only Germany winning by a 2 goal difference. There have been a lot of games with one team dominating.

Yep I was glad to see Brazil knocked out only because of Dunga as manager. Loved him as a player but his philosophy stinks for Brazil. I don't know how they could discuss the goal for so long then get it wrong. I bet this is the catalyst for a video referee in football.

I see there was a Turkish player getting hammered for fixing his hair in the lead up to the Modric goal lol not sure whether any pressure on him would have stopped it.

Is Modric the most underrated player in the world? You never hear about him for Real Madrid but I dare say they wouldn't win shit without him.

Brazil used to be the team everyone supported but over the past couple years they have just become one of those national teams you want to see lose.

Italy were very impressive today, best performance so far in the tournament.

Yeah the Turkish player Ozan Tufan ripped to shreds for fixing his hair. He got more stick for being our supposed holding midfielder and only making one successful tackle.

FUCK Hazard - dude will never learn that not all passes in the zone of the truth should go through the center. STILL doesn't feel like circulating the ball, is glued to the ball cuz he feels more in charge

I mean the coach has learned NOTHING since the world cup 2 years ago. we've still got the same problems :

*slow ball circulation
*no surprises in the game (keeps the creative players pocketed till the last 25 minutes)
*using Hazard & Debruyne on the same team (you should NEVER put Debruyne on a flank, he is less motivated, put dude in the center)


can't front on the Italians. Conte is a very tactically skilled coach. even though this isn't the most talented Italian generation in a while they played as a TEAM, showed real grinta and ON TOP OF THAT their technical skills were far better than those of the Belgian players. did you see that first goal? that final pass (long pass!), the way Giaccherini controlled the ball and scored - classy!

SMFH @ our coach. dude said in his last interview before the European cup 'as long as the backs are a tight unit the other players can do as they please and work out their own ideas'. MOTHERFUCKER YOU ARE GETTING PAID TO DO SOME THINKING AND WORK OUT A VALID STRATEGY. BUT YOU'RE JUST TOO DUMB AREN'T YOU? how the fuck are you gonna let the players do what they want to do? you've got Hazard & De Bruyne asking for the ball IN THE SAME POSITION just one example


so much talent going to waste, I swear. this generation should be ready to harvest now but first and foremost they are not self critical (back Vertonghen in his post game interview 'yeah I think we did well' - motherfucker you lost 0:2 how exactly did you play well?) and secondly they deserve a real coach

my suggestions :
*I nominate a new coach for after the European Cup : Michel Preudhomme (Belgian champ this year)
*for this European Cup : forward Dries Mertens should ALWAYS start the game
*more cross passes needed
*put Debruyne in the center position or take him off the team cuz he's been going through a rough patch lately
