Scholes has actually retired but, despite the fact his own game hasdropped off severely in the last couple of years, I don't think England have been the same since he left.

Going on recent performances, my England midfield would be:-

Cole, Gerrard, Lampard, Beckham (out on the right of course, so his passes go into the 6 yard box and not just to the wingers).

but only cause SWP has looked shite for England so far.

SWP didn't look too bad against Northern Ireland, but then Sven takes him off... I think he needs more games with England, I dont think hes completed 90mins yet. Cant really see anyone else playing right mid right now. And go back to Canada Owen Hargreaves, your shite.

They just were better than the real ... 10 years ago everybody was laughing at this club, but Aulas was patient, he slowly but surely built a strong solid club . I just pray that they will be stopped the soonest possible in the CL ...
