so is this the biggest waste of a season (the pats) u go 18-0 your QB breaks the td record your WR who u got for nothing breaks the td record you break the scoring record and then of all games u lose the one that counts the most and now both moss and samuel are free agents who do they keep?

How did those QB's fall of the face of the planet? Ok, maybe I'd agree with Dilfer, but he's still in the NFL. I'd have to disagree with Warner. He's gotten older, but he's still a good QB, and a starter. He could start on a bunch of teams in the NFL. Maybe people would hear of him more if he didn't play for the Cardinals, but they are an improving team.
Brad Johnson is older, but he could also start somewhere in the NFL. Maybe he could start on the Cowboys, but they have a soap opera type QB who's fans and teammates would rather blame losses on a girlfriend being at the games, then to fess up to getting outplayed.
Well based on Eli's performance in the Superbowl, he is far ahead of those qbs you mentioned. What he did on that last drive was remarkable. To compare him to those you mentioned doesnt carry weight. Yeah, but the QB that Warner was competing against was one of the top QB's to come out of college. Warner is still a real nice passer, and could start for just about any team in the league. The Cardinals are on their way up.
Like I said, Brad Johnson would be starting for the Cowboys if Romo wasn't there. Romo helps the Cowboys get publicity though, cause he's like the Lindsay Lohan of the NFL. And with T.O. on the team also, he's like the Britney Spears of the NFL, so it's like an Entertainment Tonight show.

the entire Giant's secondary has been rebuilt since then
and also remember when Kurt Warner was ON the Giants? We couldn't protect him for shit.. same with Eli when he came in the 2nd half of that season when Kurt went down. Our O-Line was EMBARRASING for the early parts of 2000's. O-Line has since been totally rebuilt.
Eli basically had Tiki Barber, and he had a young front 7 anchored by Mike Strahan.
Oh, and not to mention: we were injured from 04 even till this year. Strahan missed a year I believe Eli's 1st or 2nd year... Shockey...Toomer missed a year last year...it seems every year he's been here one of our mainstay players always goes out for the season.
Eli won this Superbowl just as much as the Defense and Special Teams and the rest of the Offense did. What a great win it was.
And Swamp.. as for next year? We got Derrick Ward and Jeremy Shockey coming back, both of whom can be traded for talent. Also, we've got the young LB, the beast Kiwanuka who went down. That dude's someone I'm looking for to step up BIG TIme next year. Plaxico will have a HEALTHY leg next year.. ELi will be playing with CONFIDENCE.. we'll be playing better at home.. It'll be a struggle as it always is in the NFC and especially the NFC East.. but I think the Giants are more than capable of going back to the playoffs.

The Bears have so much work to do in this year's draft, it's crazy. IF they have a great draft, they can compete. But I don't think the Bears got a shot other than the fact they play in the black n blue 2008 style Central Division. The weak as Central where the PAck will I THINK go back to being an average team... the Vikes could possibly be the front runner.. Detroit could make bigger strides..and the bears? I don't see the Bears doing much in their own division, let alone the NFC.
Giants and Cowgirls are going to be the top teams next year.. in all right they should be. The Packers I just don't think will have TWO MIRACLE runs back2back. That loss to the G-Men in Lambeau flattened their spirits. Brett MAY come back..but with what? He put a lot out there this year.

Orton is a product of that Purdue spread offense that puts up big numbers but he is terrible. I think I have a better arm than him.
